The Kick Six is obviously the most improbably play, but the scene doesn't get set in nearly as much grandeur if The Miracle In Jordan-Hare doesn't happen the week before. A tipped Hail Mary caught perfectly to put the tigers up against Georgia.
You completely left out of the Kick 6 segment how it literally overshadowed how Auburn the week before won on the "Miracle at Jordan-Haire", where they beat Georgia on a tipped Hail Mary pass. Those were two of the most miraculous wins I have ever seen in any sports, and it happened in B2B weeks
3 games that should've been mentioned: 2013 The deep south's oldest rivalry, auburn vs Georgia. Byu had 2 games at the beginning of one of their seasons end with game winning hail Mary's. Their QB was tanner mangum at the time, i can't remember what year ot was
The Heave to Cleave was my first ever Gator game. Thankful to have attended on the UAA's dime as an online student from MN. Got to go on the field during a commercial break and everything. That weekend changed my life too as I ended up being offered a GA position with a prof I still talk to daily years after finishing the program. Wouldn't trade my time in GNV for the world.
Dave Berry, a Miami fan, wrote in his column that the ref who made the pass interference call to give Ohio State its second chance took so long to make the call that it was spring by the time the flag was thrown and birds had built their nest on the ref's shoulder. Humor can heal pain.
As a freshman in high school my team beat our arch rival on a whacky play. We were down by 4, so TD or nothing, it was supposed to be a QB sneak but ended up not getting any push, which led to some of the rival defenders celebrating. The problem is our QB had the presence of mind to call out to our fullback who took the ball and went into the end zone right in front of a celebrating defender. The refs signaled touchdown and we won, their fans still b**** and moan about 14 years later.
I think my favourite bit of the 2019 Egg Bowl game is what they called it. I'm not sure if RUclips will censor my comment, but due to the head coaches both being fired soon after, it earned the moniker "The Piss, The Miss and the Double Dismiss".
That Miami Duke one is sooo bad. You talked about the missed forward laterals, but far more egregious imo was the many missed blocks in the back and the player who ran off the Miami bench and onto the field well before the play was over
Don't forget the 2016 Tennessee-Georgia game and the double Hail Marry! GA threw a Hail Marry to go ahead in the last few moments of the game, kicked it off, and Tennessee threw their own Hail Marry yo win!
I know it’s FCS, but I can’t believe the Miracle on the Mountain didn’t get a mention. Furman scoring a late TD on App State to go up by 1, and they decided to go for two to make it a 3 point game. The 2 point attempt was intercepted and returned all the way to give App State 2 points and the win. And the QB who threw it was a young Billy Napier.
the real Miracle of that Miami Duke game was that the officials screwed up so hard on multiple fronts that they all got suspended by the ACC for botching the call that badly😂 Edit: just saw the end where it was addressed.
Ole miss would lose by seemingly Divine intervention vs Arkansas after the 4th and 25 play to keep them out of the sec championship game in 2015. Probably the craziest play I have ever seen in my life. Surprised it wasn’t in the video.
You should take a look into the Purdue Wisconsin series in football in the 21st century; according to my research, one of the longest running in-division winning streaks in FBS (Besides IU-OSU, but who gives a shit about IU football right?). Purdue has not beaten Wisconsin since 2003 in Madison. The following year in 2004 would feature a top 10 match up in West Lafayette with an infamous late game Kyle Orton garbage time fumble and subsequent scoop n score to steal a Badger victory from the jaws of defeat. The implications of this game were massive, with College Gameday attending and Purdue looking to secure a big ten title AND crown the programs first ever Heisman trophy winner in Kyle Orton, fate would have otherwise. Since that fateful day in 2004, College Gameday has never returned to West Lafayette, but the curse has never left.
No one remembers this but there was a western mich ball state game a few years back that ended on a duke/Miami lateral play. Wmu lateraled as they were going down, ball states whole sideline thought it was over and rushed. Wmu didn't think they were down and kept going. It was a mess.
"Its 1999 and the Baylor Bears have forgotten how to play football." I spat my drank out at that, as a long time Baylor hater that made me lose my shit omg
The Mich MSU game has my fave ever call where the MSU radio host screams “ARR YOU KIDDING ME” then audibly gets up and is celebrating outside the booth
It should be noted the reason the refs lost track of the downs was because a guy on the sideline had a heart attack or something and distracted everyone in the area.
All of this and no Kordell Stewart at Michigan? I'm sorry, but that is the biggest personal foul in all of this. Go back and look. He threw that ball 75 yards. Not in mile high Boulder, in muggy Michigan.
8:46 freshman KICKER andy griffith
The greatest Hail Mary of all time was dropping this vid right when I was about to do something productive, procrastination wins again…
Not using the 25 30 35 40 call of the kick 6 is criminal
I was waiting for the "AUBURNS GONNA WIN THE FOOTBALL GAME" and it never came
probably got claimed
I need to know whether they'll be able to keep them off the field tonight. I MUST know!
Notre Dame could’ve used a Hail Mary yesterday
The Kick Six is obviously the most improbably play, but the scene doesn't get set in nearly as much grandeur if The Miracle In Jordan-Hare doesn't happen the week before. A tipped Hail Mary caught perfectly to put the tigers up against Georgia.
i don’t want to talk about that play
the *prayer* at Jordan-Hare. The rhyme is important
edited to fix typo
@@psymar i always thought it was called the miracle at jordan hare
Cal-Stanford 1982 "The Play" is the most improbable play of all time
The kick six is definitely not that improbable. Punt return TD’s happen all the time.
The egg bowl kick at the end is definitely the most improbable.
"It's 1999 and the Baylor Bears have forgotten how to play football..."
Absolutely true and freakin hilarious.
happens once every three years and then we get a random 10 win season in the same time frame
Empire never misses.

Cal over Stanford - 'Best ending to an 82 foot college football game I have ever seen.' - Randy or Jason Sklar on 'Cheap Seats'.
3 games that should've been mentioned:
2013 The deep south's oldest rivalry, auburn vs Georgia.
Byu had 2 games at the beginning of one of their seasons end with game winning hail Mary's. Their QB was tanner mangum at the time, i can't remember what year ot was
All these moments and many others not included are what makes college football so awesome.
Clicked on the video, saw the topic, immediately thought of UF v Tennessee.
Did not disappoint.
Not even the most memorable Hail Mary Tennessee has been a part of in the last decade

Yet another banger from Empire
Youll be right but the video was out for 2 mins when you commented this 😭
@@logankistler8706I’m a psychic trust
PLEASE keep making these bro. No joke in the past month I have watched every single CFB video you have ever made. UCF 2 parter is my favorite so far

That pass by Big Ben was damn near 80 yards in the air lol
I think my favourite bit of the 2019 Egg Bowl game is what they called it. I'm not sure if RUclips will censor my comment, but due to the head coaches both being fired soon after, it earned the moniker "The Piss, The Miss and the Double Dismiss".
Idk if this makes any sense but if God was a football fan, he’d be a college football fan rather than nfl.
Empire is going to be a big time College Football RUclipsr soon, it’s crazy it hasn’t happened yet.
That Miami Duke one is sooo bad. You talked about the missed forward laterals, but far more egregious imo was the many missed blocks in the back and the player who ran off the Miami bench and onto the field well before the play was over
On field and replay officials got suspended after that game
You deserve more followers, banger videos
LSU vs Kentucky 2004 THE BLUE GRASS MIRACLE THE BEST HAIL MARRY GAME OF ALL TIME
Actually, 2 years off. It happened in November of 2002.
I’m really surprised that the bluegrass miracle isn’t mentioned, that is maybe the most unlikely play I’ve ever seen
the bluegrass miracle just barely missed the list of plays to mention
Don't forget the 2016 Tennessee-Georgia game and the double Hail Marry! GA threw a Hail Marry to go ahead in the last few moments of the game, kicked it off, and Tennessee threw their own Hail Marry yo win!
Wonder how many games ended with a blocked FG getting returned for a touchdown, first one I can think of is FSU-GT in 2015
Putting trouble with the snap in here hurt my soul
Best miracle play in my opinion is the 2007 Trinity Millsaps game.
That LSU/Kentucky last play hail mary was a good one also
Wake up babe EMPIRE posted !! Let’s goooo
Great videos - here before you blew up.
"I don't think i can anymore"
At keast you're not a Kentucky fan...if nothing else, the under hit for me
I didn't know joe swanson made video essays about football
I always thought he was named after the clock in London, because he's big and tall like a tower, and his name's Ben... ergo Big Ben.

Was not expecting to see that USD Hail Mary, I don’t think I’ve ever stared farther past a TV in my life
I just realized you realized this on the Blessed Virgin Mary's birthday
the real Miracle of that Miami Duke game was that the officials screwed up so hard on multiple fronts that they all got suspended by the ACC for botching the call that badly😂
Edit: just saw the end where it was addressed.
@5:06 flutie talks about how the tight end was wide open on the backside and couldve just walked in, on a few podcasts
I always thought the hail mary was invented by Roger Staughback for the Dallas Cowboys.

The Heave to Cleve! Go Gators!
Marco Wilson might be the most hated man in Gainesville
Great job man 👍
2002 UK vs LSU bluegrass miracle im surprised isnt on here

Patrick Warburton? Loved you in Seinfeld!
0:09 I was at that game
"Freshman quarterback Adam Griffith"
God didn't decide "that Mississippi State was not going to win this game"...Mother Nature did.
Hello empire how are you
Not Reese Poffenbarger :(
What about the bluegrass miracle?
Adding one second to the UT vs Nebraska game was they right call. Why is that one in the video?
It should be noted the reason the refs lost track of the downs was because a guy on the sideline had a heart attack or something and distracted everyone in the area.
