"Think and believe what we say to believe or go to hell in eternal damnation" does not send a message of peace. Rather it tells me that religion has a very narrow minded view of the creative force as evidenced by the fact that no parent, physical or spiritual, would ever damn its offspring for being short-sighted or having a difference of opinion. I am forever thankful that I was never forcefully indoctrinated (aka brainwashed) with somebody else's reLIEgious "teachings". Thanks, Mom.

In the troubled world that we live in people are looking for peace. And they are finding it in religion. All religions promise peace with our fellow man. But if you are not an atheist and have a consciousness of God you will desire peace with God. Only Christianity promises peace with God and only through the cross of Yeshua. That's the inconvenient truth that we all must wrestle with.
