Del Greco's kicking was a huge reason the Ravens won both games in Tennessee. In Week 11 he missed an extra point that would've put the Titans up 24-17. And after the Ravens had gone down the field and took the lead. He missed the GW FG. And in the Divisional Round he missed a FG. And had two blocked, one that was returned for a Ravens TD. That's 5 Kicks that he missed and had he made them, the Titans would've likely won all 3 games.

Titans fan here. I personally feel a stronger rivalry with the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers than I do with the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars, mainly because of the old AFC Central days. Here are some other notable previous exchanges between the Titans and Ravens (at least from my vantage point and my faulty memory): - In 2003/04, during McNair's only MVP season, the Titans ended the Ravens season in the Wild Card round after Baltimore won 5 of their last 6 games of the regular season and felt like they were building steam toward a deep playoff run. - In 2005, Derrick Mason left the Titans after several spectacular seasons. He had 30 other teams he could've went to, but of all teams, he went to Baltimore. When he retired, he signed a one-day contract with Baltimore to retire a Raven. - Steve McNair, a QB I'd argue should be in the HoF, went with Derrick in 2005 to Baltimore. This was a pretty big deal at the time, as the division realignment happened only a few years prior - many fans felt betrayed. - Lastly, Samari Rolle, a prominent member of our playoff defenses of the early 2000s, also left for Baltimore in 2005. If anyone out there has any insights as to why so many high-profile titans went to Baltimore in 2005, I'd love to hear why. - In 2008/09, Tennessee had one of their most dominant seasons since the move to Nashville, starting 10-0 and finishing the season 13-3. They were favorites to go to and win the Super Bowl and had earned a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. In the divisional game against Baltimore, the Titans got absolutely blown up. This loss basically led to an implosion and loss of identity for the Titans that put us in the AFC basement for nearly the next decade. - And, of course, the games from the last few years, with the teams trading regular season and playoff wins pretty regularly. I hope to see more of this in the future.

So what was the writing on the wall for the Titans mentioned near the end of the video?
Greatest defense ever. No doubt
except for 2007 ... uploading another ravens vid today
games like this made me an ass at ravens games in my youth...last time i went to a playoff game (Chargers at Ravens) my clearest memory is having a great time with a chargers fan...and the ravens lost...we shook hands and i was happy for HIM...get over it, its a game.
Can you do a video of “up and coming non divisional rivalries” like for example
Ofc Titans vs ravens
Bucs vs rams
Saints vs vikings
Patriots vs chiefs
Etc.
Also keep up the good videos love em👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
i might look into the saints vikings rivalry shortly
@@ClasherSports That one goes way back to the 1987 season (January 3, 1988) playoff game for its origin point. The Vikings season record was misleading because the team lost all three games with the replacement players.
I remember being in the stadium when ray picked it off of Eddie I never heard the stadium that silent like it was when that happen.
Old AFC Central rivals
Put Eddie in the Hall already ‼️
Tbh I don’t think his numbers are good enough
@@Eli-ss9gj Only RB with 10k+ rush yds not in the Hall... Consistent Pro Bowler... 2x league leading rusher... crazy nasty stiff arm (lol)... perhaps not the longest career, but his resume speaks for itself...
@@TC_Montana that’s true, but he also only had 3.6 YPC. That’s poor, especially for someone who is trying to be HoF caliber
One of the most fiercest rivalries in the NFL the Titans just makes my blood boil as a Ravens fan but what a great rival and games to watch
tomorrows vid-2003 Wild Card game Ten @ Bal
@@ClasherSports definitely watching it bro thanks for the update
Derrick Henry vs the Ravens defense will have me tuned in in I'm not even a Titans fan
If the the Titans would’ve won this game they probably win the SB and I think ppl would to look at the late Steve “Air” NcNair as a HOFer.
ravens vs. steelers is by far the most relevant rivalry
That’s what I said too. While this rivalry is cool, it’s just noise compared to that
@@Eli-ss9gj because theyre not in the same division obviously
Ravens Flock Stand Up! 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
Eddie was on the cover of madden if I'm not mistaken... I remember that year. And that's why their still beefing until this day for the past two playoffs game.👀👀
I don’t think The Titans would have gotten past the Raiders the next week. Titans were tough though.
Still haven't got over this loss
7:30 ray lewis tryna pull McNair closer to him lmao
Wdym? Neither Ray nor McNair was in that clip
One thing that isn’t pointed out much is the fact that there visiting team is almost guaranteed to win when they meet in the playoffs. Idk why the visitor seems to always win but they do
Chris McAllister is underrated
I prefer the titans vs ravens rivalry over the ravens vs steelers
Fr? I’d say the other way around
How tf did you not mention Pittsburgh vs Baltimore?????
The wheel of time just turned full circle.
Greatest defense in NFL history, and every stat proves it!
Don’t forget to consider strength of schedule.
@@byrongammonbyrongammon9937 Middle of the pack strength of schedule, I think it was ranked 17th of 31. Also, that’s because we played the Browns (3-13) twice, if you take them out of the equation, we had the 3rd hardest strength of schedule.
@@byrongammonbyrongammon9937 hard to argue with the greatest scoring defense AND rushing defense of their era. Also recovered the most fumbles of their era iirc
@@Eli-ss9gj , their level of competition wasn’t anything special. Who’d they play? The 49ers led by Bill Walsh, Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott, and Jerry Rice? Or how about the Redskins led by Joe Gibbs, Art Monk, John Riggins, and Darrell Green?
How many of the Ravens’ rivals are in the Hall Of Fame? How many Super Bowl titles did the Ravens’ rivals take home?
NYC video bro
I'm a giants fan but one of my favorite QBs all time was air McNair
I love when NFL's great player rivals are respectful friends off the field. Some guys want them to hate & seethe....like our women do. Still angry about an ex coworker she hasnt seen in 10 years 'who does she think she is.'
How were the Ravens an expansion team? They were the relocated Browns. You could argue the present day Browns are an expansion team, and played like it for most of their history
because the city made owner Art Modell leave behind the teams name and history... the ravens were considered an expansion team
Banger?!?
Lmfao I remember that game. Ravens had no business winning that one but their Goat defense wouldn’t let them lose
