Hello beautiful! I didn't know you had a YT channel until I was looking through your patreon. I loved this video. It reminded me of what they would do in the Catholic church with holy water. When I was little I would get so excited if some of the water got on me. I felt holy. lol I'm going to go subscribe now.
Awe thank you!! I was inspired by the Greek Orthodox tradition actually! I was raised in that church and the ritual side is definitely inspired by the pagan roots of greece! 😉
@@seekingnumina Oh wow, that's neat! And it honestly doesn't surprise me. While Catholic I didn't know how much paganism was in the church. I sure do now. lol
@@aspynwood so many synchronicities! Makes for an easy transition! I remember reading in Drawing Down the Moon that the most common people to become witches are women with a Catholic or orthodox background. And in my own experience that has definitely been true!
@seekingnumina As an ex Catholic I could totally see that. My struggle is that I went from Catholicism to a strict Fundamentalist Baptist church KJV only, and then other strict Evangelical churches who told me, and continued to preach about how idolatrous and evil the Catholic church was. So any peace I had from that got ripped apart. I literally threw away every Catholic thing I owned, even family heirlooms. 😥 Emma told me that I will write and publish a book about my journey one day. Maybe. All I know is that I had brain washing from multiple places. Undoing that is sooo hard. Yet I keep learning and moving forward. My children deserve it. I deserve it. So I cry while I walk. It's kind of my thing currently. Lol
@@aspynwood crying is a purge - it sounds like a healthy release. I’m sorry to hear about that experience; those fundamentalists are terrifying to me, honestly, I’m glad you found your way out ❤️ be patient with yourself on this journey, it’s definitely not an easy one. And don’t be afraid to dip your toes back to Catholic saints or practices - there’s no fear of “cheating on witchcraft” (especially since as we know, Catholics took a lot from Pagans, including making goddesses saints!) if it’s healing, go to a mass, read books outside of the Craft. I would love to read your memoir someday! It sounds like you’re still writing it 😉
I love this, I often wonder how to use what is around me for such things. Thank you for this one! I’m doing this today.
So glad you found this helpful!! May it bring you lots of direction on tonight’s full moon!

Such a beautiful and simple ritual. Thank you for taking your time to share it!
Thank you so much! I hope it brings you some calm as well! ❤️
I love lavender. It's one of my go-to's
Me too! It’s so great for anxiety and bringing a sense of calm to everything. I add it to all of my homemade hand soaps & lotions. 💜
