I'm a theater queen and adore many of the well-known actors in this concert, but this is my favorite performance of the night. She brought so much heart. I watch it at least once a day.
omg I'm making my way through these videos and was thinking "man, I wish someone would sing 'Lost in the Wilderness' for Miscast". Such an underrated song.
I have known her since she did "RENT" at New World Stages. And I knew then she was a force. This woman is amazing and so glad to see her moving onward. No, people may not have known who she was but she deserved to be on that stage. If you didn't see her in "Black No More", you really missed a great performance. Absolutely adore her!

Tad underwhelmed w the song choices/performances from some of the more well-known headliners this year. Tamika Lawrence on the other hand STOLE 🎤 THE🎤 SHOW! Someone needs to cast her in a leading role befitting her talent!

Ha. That was messy and harsh. But there were some really great moments. She’s so interesting though you forgive the pitchiness. Reminds me a bit of how Luther and Whitney just did whatever they wanted when they sang.
