To give you an idea, “Drag” is the most difficult force to overcome with a bicycle once you exceed 15kph (about ten mph), and the faster you go, the greater the drag.

Love my Quintana Roo PR five. They have the best customer service I did order a PR 4 but when the bike was not delivered in 2 weeks I called and they upgraded my frame to a PR 5 with no added cost. ($1000) The PR4 frames were not available so I got the free upgrade. AWESOME BIKE! They have been at all the big triathlons I have participated in if you take the bike by the tent they will run through it at no charge and tighten and lube it up. Kudos to Quintana Roo they guys there are always helpful.
What the hell is shimano ultegra 105….

Its their lowest line on the tier levels. Basically one platform lower than Ultegra
@@christian14329 yeah the comment went over your head. 1. Shimano Ultegra 105 doesn’t exist. 2. 105 isn’t the lowest tier of components, there’s tiagra, sora, and Claris too.

Awful video, why were you showing running shots? Why were you showing road bikes? Why are you suggesting disc brakes are a good idea on triathlon bikes when they add 10-25w? Why did you show a gravel bike during the quinatano roo section. Stop making videos
You said it better than me! You did leave out how many words he mispronounced, like shimano.
Pretty much all pros use disc brakes on their tri bikes.
@@davidkaplan5517 All the pros are provided with the bikes they ride, and they are told by the team what they will ride. It's not like it's a choice. If you had a choice between removing 25w of effort or adding it, what would you choose?
Discs mean the bike manufacturers can charge more money for the bike as its a "Value added premium feature" .... which costs more energy to push forward as well money to buy
@@I.am.Bananaman lol…. They can ride whatever they want. Many times the company will build something based on what they specifically want. Lionel Sanders rode disc and rim recently and has gone back and forth.

I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
