My junior high school, Kenmore in the late 60’s. We couldn’t win a game in any sport in 1967 and 1968.
Then integration started. The young black men joined our sports teams and suddenly we started to win, every game in every sport in 1969.
We did so well that sports illustrated wrote up the school. Not one word in that article was about the young African American young men who did all the work.
