Thanks for sharing! I have been very tempted to get this particular model and design, but I ultimately went with the Euphoria model instead because of the pen facets ❤❤
oh my, I have been considering a Benu. This is a gorgeous pen, and it looks like you got a good one. The issue with Benu pens for me is that often the pen you get isn't as nice looking as the pictures because sometimes the distribution of the sparkles and colors are not done well and get gloppy looking. (I had to return a couple) So it's a bit of a crap shoot. If I order, I will be prepared to return it if the resin looks bad. So because of the expense of the possible need for a return, I have not hit the buy button just yet on any more Benus. However, Atlas pens just came out with an exclusive "Gold Coast" that is very tempting.
I’ve been buying a lot of pens lately, but if memory serves, I bought this one on Amazon. They have super easy, free returns. Maybe that’s an option for you? I don’t see this pen causing a trip down the Benu rabbit hole, but I may get another one in the future if the price is right. Thank you so much for watching!
I’m a believer now! Some videos mentioned feedback, which generally scares me off. But it was surprisingly smooth. Very happy. It served as the pen of the day today, and I was not disappointed. Thanks for the comment!
I feel you on how loud BENU pens are but I have found that that Talisman line works for me and I've falling into the BENU rabbit hole. They are beautiful pens and oh how they write right out of the box. Amazing nibs for being non branded. I think now I have the Fox Glove, Dragon Blood and the LE Armenian Pomegranate (Tribute to the country post their move from Russia). I wait for ones that meet my subtle taste when buying BENU but definitely one to keep/add in your collection.
I feel like you don't hear about Kaweco inks very often and I kind of wonder why that is since all their colors look pretty nice and they're pretty reasonably priced. I own a bottle of Summer Purple and a few cartridges of Caramel Brown. I like Caramel Brown quite a lot, I will likely pick up a bottle at some point, and Summer Purple is nice too although it does tend to feather in the double broad nib of my Narwhal Original+. Maybe it would perform better in a finer nib.
Oh, I’ll have to watch out for that with Summer Purple. Caramel Brown is a favorite. I have a few cartridges left, then I’ll pick up a bottle. Smokey Grey is one of my favorite grey inks. I’ve since picked up some other grey inks that I will need to compare it to, but for a long time, it was my absolute favorite. Thank you for the comment!

Nice friendly review! I wanted to see the broad nib in action and I’m surprised how crisp the line is!
Thank you so much! Yes, it’s a very nice broad nib. Thank you for commenting.
Are Benu pens not the smoothest writers? I swear the glide of a Benu fountain pen is addictive!

Yes, I’m super impressed. I think I was considering the fox glove one, but went with this. Love brown pens! Thank you for commenting.
