Just to add more info about one more golden temple in india I.e Sripuram Golden temple .....1.8 tons /1800 kg gold is used .. temple covering 5000 square feet is full of gold everywhere....To reach the main sanctum sanctorum devotees need to walk through a Star shaped pathway.and a 70-kg idol of Mahalakshmi in pure gold has been consecrated . ❤️😊😍🙏🙏

I visited there in Golden temple on 27th June 2021 because i had a wish if i get my japan visa i will go to GOLDEN TEMPLE to thanks to God finally i arrived in japan TOKYO on 1 july 2021 and I’m in qurantine for 10 days.

Many Hindu Temples also have 4 doors. Many many Hindu Temples are too adorned with huge quantities of Gold. And of course every temple has huge quantities of gold inside it. Especially South Indian Temples. Hindu Temples and Hinduism itself have much much more symbolic reason for everything they do. It is also the most scientific religion.😊

Proud to be indian Punjabi hi I visited more than 50 times to harmandir sahib urf golden temple and I belong from Sikhism religion which relegion gurus made. Golden temple and I live in Punjabi the amazing state Edit - you can't find any Sikh or man with turban begging it bet you if you can find any begger who is Sikh and wearing turban it doesn't mean that we are rich it means we are so hard working okk

There is not just one Golden temple in India,
There are many, for example,Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, it is also covered with Gold.
There are many such temples in South.
Actually, there were many, but got destroyed in the invasion.
The temple is mentioned in the Puranas including the Kashi Khanda (section) of Skanda Purana. The original Vishwanath temple was destroyed by army of Aibak in 1194 CE, when he defeated the Raja of Kannauj as a commander of Mohammad Ghori. The temple was rebuilt by a Gujarati merchant during the reign of Delhi's Sultan Iltutmish (1211-1266 CE). It was demolished again during the rule of either Hussain Shah Sharqi (1447-1458) or Sikandar Lodhi (1489-1517). Raja Man Singh built the temple during Mughal emperor Akbar's rule. Raja Todar Mal further re-built the temple with Akbar's funding at its original site in 1585.
In 1669 CE, Emperor Aurangzeb destroyed the temple and built the Gyanvapi Mosque in its place.[4] The remains of the erstwhile temple can be seen in the foundation, the columns and at the rear part of the mosque.
Shri lakshmi nayarani mandir is the biggest golden temple of india which is build with 15,000 KG gold
In India many more Temple's are built using Gold. For example :- Maha Laxmi Temple of Velore which is Gold Temple.

Kashi ka sona maharaja ranjeet singh ne diya tah aur vellore ka temple ka sona cheap quality ka hai 16 18 carrat ka

Though the gurudwara in Amritsar is known as the golden temple, there are many temples in India that are lavishly adorned with Gold. Kashi Viswanath is one of them. There are quite a few such temples in the South, Padmanabhaswamy temple being the most famous.

4th guru of Sikhism Guru Ramdaas ji start the foundation of Harmander sahib and Sai Mian Meer (Muslim ) kept the first stone of Harmander sahib . And then 5TH Guru , Guru Arjan Dev ji complete the Harmander sahib and makes four door which represents that Harmander sahib open for every person , from every religion ,every caste etc and provide free food ( Langer ) to everyone who visit Harmander Sahib .
