Good episode. Not a whisky person (an artisanal tequila guy), though I'm starting to delve more into experimenting with different types. I do like aged tequila expressions, which often have some similarities with certain whiskies. At the moment, the oaky notes I like in reposado & añejo tequilas I don't quite enjoy as much in bourbon & single malts, but intend to revisit & keep testing different whiskies. I liked that you did this blind with your friend who occasionally has whisky but isn't a whisky nerd because I can relate. Even though you're clearly a whisky connoisseur, I also appreciate how your tasting notes are understandable to a non-expert. Cheers & keep on going!

I'm trying, gradually, more whiskies. Started with single malts, which maybe wasn't the most gentle introduction.....Added some standard/basic bourbons this week
