holding hands is not sexual or romantic inherently, it is just a way of showing affection, i hope no one gets shamed into hiding their affection for their friends 😊
More than just hand touch you can see men holding hands and walking together or sitting while holding hands everywhere in states like Jharkhand, Bihar, Up. A level of intimacy as such between male friends can't be seen in East Asian cultures in counties like Japan or Korea.
It just reveals how sexualized are the mindset of Western people. We grow up and learn walking with our hand in our dad's. When we are kids, our dads hold our hands whenever we go outside. Maybe jokingly, but we do say our bestfriend as son. We don't need to justify what we're doing is right, but whoever feels otherwise need to change their mindset and stop sexualizing everything they see.

its cool buddy. nothing wrong if men do it. But people judge when it comes to helping your "better half" in household chores. This is due to patriarchy. Lots of boomer generation parents don't teach their boys this, as they have this mentality, that household chores are for girls, which is very wrong.

Because in India holding hands is culturally not considered anything to do with sexual orientation. It's merely way of showing affection, bonding, and camaraderie that all men, women and children do. However, holding hands by people of opposite sex is considered sign of romantic involvement.

Hand touch is also common in most of Asian countries epically South East Asian
It's not only in India

I have seen many friends holding hand during crossing road both genders do that with same gender from childhood we are taught to hold hands in order to not get lost in order to not lose people like that if our hands are hold by our friends it makes us feel much safer and as we all know india is very crowded so if u hold hands u won't be separated by crowd
Well this explanation isn't the exact explanation but holding hands for not losing someone has been in our mind or taught to us since childhood
Very true
I don't know but I feel awkward to hold my friend hands too😅
in high school we used to have a teacher from Germany ....he always scolded the boys for holding hands together ...he said tht in the West such things r find weird n tells a lot about ur personality .....he might know the West well but he didnt know anything about India
Why he used to tell about what is acceptable or not in west if he was in India?
Did he teach German on something?
In my house me and my brother have to do all our household chores. Be it washing clothes or washing your plates after eating. I have been doing this from 12 years of age. I think every man should know how to do household chores because it is important in life.
No one asked
its cool buddy. nothing wrong if men do it. But people judge when it comes to helping your "better half" in household chores. This is due to patriarchy. Lots of boomer generation parents don't teach their boys this, as they have this mentality, that household chores are for girls, which is very wrong.
abey tune video ka title dekha hai?

Why do we need verification of westerners on everything we do??
There is nothing wrong in this. If they feel awkward then they need to adjust accordingly. It is very similar when we have culture shock after knowing that 13-14 years children loose their verginity just in highschool or even in middle school. PDA is quite extreme there which is not present in India which makes we Indians feel awkward.
