First off they don't make a 5.0. Its A 4.4v8. The trunk Has a dual opening option to open the hatch. The seat extension isn't supposed to slide by hand.. I just did the tune up for 300 at home. BMW will charge you $1500 for plugs and coils. Oil $150. looking at minimum $9250. i Own the Same car with 65000miles. I love it. purchased for $11999. + 2500 extended warranty.
I sincerely hope to buy one of these 5 GT if I can't afford the 6 GT (that would be my first choice)
It should cost a lot less after the front impact that's not even hidden appropriately.

Nice video Chad. But I pray for the poor sucker who buys that car. There's a reason the dealer selling it isn't fixing it and selling it as is. These euro luxury cars aren't cheap to repair and I bet the "tune up" that needs to be done on this bimmer will cost upwards of 5000$+. That's the way it goes with these cars. This is what happened to my old 2008 Audi with 130k miles.
thanks for the input man. I would agree they are really costly to fix once they get higher miles like these. The dealership wants to sell them as is with a lower price so people can fix them there selves and then they will have a nice car once they put some cash into it. I do like how this dealership wants me to be up front about the vehicles on the lot. I'm going to have some fun at this place and hopefully sell a few at the same time!
You're correct about the poor suckered. But the tune up will only be 1-1500$ i just did it at home for 300. It won't sell without going for a test drive. If it needs a tune up it will be a horrible drive until its done. Nobody will buy it.

I owned a 2010 745i and had to get rid of it.. Wow what a headache that car was. I will never ever buy another 7 series BMW.. Idk whats going on with American and german auto manufacturing THEY ARE MAKING UNRELIABLE CARS!!!
thanks for your input about this. I filmed a few 7 series today. They really look like nice luxury vehicles, but surly seem to need some work once they get older. Like I was saying all cars break at some point. The German and American vehicles just seem to have more problems later in the vehicles life. Japanese cars seem to hold up much better over the long haul.
@@CarolinaCarVideos yeah they are amazing cars but when brand new..the 7 series is incredibly comfortable smooth and beautiful.. But dammit it sucks after like 60k miles mine started giving me electrical problems then after 100k miles the transmission failed. I know a few ppl that had similar and worst problems with theirs.. I own a 2015 LS 460 lexus now that i leased with only 9k miles when i got it and i put over 80k miles on it and i havent had 1 single problem.. THANKS FOR THE REPLY.. That price and that condition is superb though.. it's a great car undoubtedly regardless of the maintenance cost,might not be a daily rider but a suitable weekender

So it sold to a young lady that did not know anything about cars and the salesman did not really tell her much about the things needing fixed on it. There was a reason the price was so cheap and with over 200K miles. A few weeks later the girl came back by angry and said she took the car to BMW to get looked at. Lets just say repairs were over 2500 and she was not to happy. I asked her why she did not have the car looked at before buying it. She did not really give me a good answer. I believe all she cared about was getting that symbol at first. Like I told her you have to Pay to Play and maintenance is really high on these cars. You must do the research before spending all your money just because it looks pretty.

Wife had one of these. I called it The Beast because it is on 7 series chasis so it is long. Also that engine smacks the tar out of most vehicles on the road. 100mph is just cruising for this big and very thirsty engine. The 3rd reason I called it The Beast is it was ALWAYS in the shop. We were paying 5 series $ and too often drivng 3 series loaners. BMW's most unreliable engine ever. My wife called it her abusive boyfriend. He slaps you around but you keep going back because he's so darn pretty. She finally got wise and dumped her abusive boyfriend! From my exprience and in s/w a retired BMW salesman, never buy a used BMW. He told me you lease a new BMW. Never buy a BMW as they are unreliable. I say after 5 yrs the letters turn from BMW to POS. Just this man's opinion.

I would definitely not as it's clear as crystal that it had a front collision. And he didn't even mention the #1 GT feature which is the trunk could open in 2 different modes, the one he oppend and the whole back glass rises up too.

Yeah its really screwed up and I can't believe they would pick a $5 picture slideshow video over the walkaround reviews I made, but I guess my 10 years of working for them was over in the owners mind.
