He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering, an MBA from the prestigious Chinese University of Hong Kong (1998-2000), and a Ph.D. in e-Banking from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy (2003-2009). Additionally, he is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB).
Career Journey:
2003: Joined City Union Bank Ltd as Deputy General Manager (DGM)
2005: Promoted to General Manager (GM)
2006: Elevated to Executive Director
2011: Appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer
With over two decades of experience in the banking industry, Dr. Kamakodi has acquired extensive hands-on knowledge of the overall operations of the bank, guiding City Union Bank Ltd to new heights.

Seriously CUB is worst in advances and treating new startups... we approached CUB in initial stages of our business -(5-6 years back) ... they never gave any resonse afte many visits.... we went to HDFC from there , Now we own a factory worth 5 corore and having 2 crore Cc with 20 crore business ..... CUB talks never Do anything
