I am using 1000 litre bio gas plant in my house since 13 years. Once in a year only i change my lpg cylinder. Bio gas plant saves lot of lpg. Bio gas flame produces more heat than lpg. My cooking needs is cheaply met from bio gas. Bio gas has lot of potential in the future.
@@namanagarwal7235 i am staying in kerala. The potential of bio gas is far more than we think. If bio gas is compressed in to cylinders we can run vehicles cheaply. Bio gas flame produces far more heat than lpg stove. House and its surroundings will be very much clean without any organic waste because all the organic waste will go to the bio gas plant. The slurry coming from bio gas plant as byproduct is a very good organic manure for plants and trees.
@@prabath5693 no dirty smell at all. But if you dont ignite the gas there will be a smell. Even lpg if not ignited there will be a smell. While burning, bio gas does not produce any smell.
Well this type of journalism really helps a lot to small business like us who has no means to research. This type of information helps us to atleast give a fight to gaints.
Very good analysis on biomas, To succeed Compressed Biogas plant , government should invest on Pashushala or cattle farms , if all domestic animals of a village at one place then 1. it is very easy to collect waste of animals, 2. Easy to run a dairy business 3. Easy to sell fertilizer because most of the domestic animals care tacker are farmer also. 4. To generate initial cost of CBG (compressed biogas) establish FPC (Farmer producer company) so every farmer and shepherd becomes partner of CBG plant
An EXCELLENT presentation indeed in simple words.Modi govt is doing unimaginable things for the benefit of our nation. This govt is determined to rely less & less on fossil fuels which is responsible for green house effect which in turn leads to dramatic climate changes all over the world.
Excellent analysis of the biomass industry. The states should also chip in with their schemes. This can increase the pace of investment in this sector. Thanks.
The real impact will come only when the methane produced from human excreta or faeces is used instead of just cowdung/wastes. Imagine with so many humans living in big cities how much biogas can be produced by sewage departments. And it can be used for both cooking gas and bio-CNG. And the remaining solid wastes can be turned into organic fertilizer. There already exists one by the name Milorganite in US market prepared from human excrement etc.

The most liked part in this video was your presentation style and your communication both are excellent why the reason is that you didn't use any toff word in this video and made as very interesting. I want a setup for my home where I produce 2-5 kg of gas everyday. I want to compress and save .. do you have a setup for household with minimal price?
am looking to setup a bio cng plant with raw materials as cow dung, agro waste, food waste, etc.. i already have a agri land on a highway .. who can guide me on the project plan ?
Is Pankaj Saxena the speaker in this video? What is his email contact? I am not on Twitter! The data in this video is predominately about agriwaste, I presume. What about progress on biogas from municipal waste? Could a presentation be done excludively on that?
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, this video is mostly about agri-waste, which is what is available in abundance. I will do a video on biogas from municipal waste. The speaker in the video is M Ramesh, Associate Editor, Busines Line newspaper (me)

Do clear on consistent availability of biomass/agro waste from farms. Since other crop is used as fooder for cattle feed, will it create energy vs feed? Anyway cattles are getting reduced where there is no rainfall, labor and increase tractors.
Long neglected. Indore model should be copied in all cities. The important byproduct is organic fertiliser which will reduce pressure on chemical fertilisers
