Some context: SCP-001 (specifically The Gate Guardian) is a giant reference to the Garden of Eden. In the Bible it is given that a river flows out of Eden intersecting with the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, hence the SCP's location. Also it is given that when Adam and Eve were banished from Eden that God decided to place an angel to guard the Garden of Eden, the angel is SCP-001. SCP-073 and SCP-076-2 are SCPs based on the 2 initial children of Eve, Cain and Abel. SCP-076-2 is called Able, but then that's pretty close. For those who didn't know, the Indian Ocean Missile Experiment resulted in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which may have been covered up by the Foundation as an earthquake. Patmos refers to the island of Patmos, where John wrote the book of Revelation after having a vision.

It's my headcanon that SCP-001, "The Gate Guardian", is the reason that SCP-001, "When Day Breaks", wouldn't destroy the earth. It would destroy the solar system. The second the mutation effect damaged "The Gate Guardian" he would realize where this perceived attack was coming from (the newly designated SCP-001 "The Sun"), and destroy it. Causing a supernova which would destroy the solar system in the process.
How I imagine them meeting goes like this. The Gate Guardian doesn't care that humanity is basically gone, for he has a duty to guard Eden. But, the Sun (Which there is evidence to suggest it is alive) wants to corrupt the Gate Guardian. After killing countless flesh abominations, the Gate Guardian gets fed up with it and erases the Sun from existence. The Gate Guardian would then resume to stand guard at the gates of Eden.
SCP-001 is definitely one of my top 10 favorite SCPs. I don't exactly think its "scary" really, but the amazing power this angel possess is pretty frightening in itself. It's not even really its appearance that bothers me. I think it looks dope. Especially the drawing you made of it. To know 001 could completely destroy *anything* from *anywhere* that even tries to harm it. Like how it blew up the entire research bunker, simply because they terminated a D-class for following the telepathic orders he got from a giant angel. Which I guess 001 didn't appreciate since it's the authority within that 3km (or more) radius zone. I definitely don't blame 076/Able for *not* wanting to even go anywhere near the garden. As I recall it, the submarine was located at around the Indian Ocean roughly 8000 km from the site. everything else was going according to this video until the warhead crossed the 1 km mark. It destroyed the warhead and the submarine. SCP 001 didn’t cross his wings nor the warhead detonated.
You're probably remembering an alternate timeline. Maybe the same way that the signal went through the gate into our world, perhaps that's how the Mandela effect originates? Information leaking into our universe that is very similar, but not quite the same.
As far as I know, Experiment E was never mentioned, or if it was, it was changed to suddenly be much, much more sinister with its actual redaction. I was kind of disappointed by the interpretation of the Experiment E redaction, as the Gate Guardian's current proposal document literally states after the readacted experiment, "See Indian Ocean Submarine Missle Experiment, December 26, 2004." If you just google the date December 26, 2004, you will get tons of news clippings and a wikipedia article about the Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami event. It was the third largest earthquake ever recorded and killed around 227,000 people. When I read that, I felt such a feeling of dread, with the implication that the missle and subsequent angelic reaction caused that natural disaster, decimating 14 neighbouring countries around the Indian Ocean. But in this video, nope. The result wasn't some of the world's most destructive tsnumanis and earthquakes ever recorded, but just a destruction of Foundation boats, a yatch, and some airplanes, and a death toll of 35,000 instead. It felt very underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I love SCP Illustration's videos and efforts, but that lack of research disappointed me and made Experiment E's dreadful implication to feel very lacking.

which SCP-001?
Some context: SCP-001 (specifically The Gate Guardian) is a giant reference to the Garden of Eden.
In the Bible it is given that a river flows out of Eden intersecting with the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, hence the SCP's location.
Also it is given that when Adam and Eve were banished from Eden that God decided to place an angel to guard the Garden of Eden, the angel is SCP-001.
SCP-073 and SCP-076-2 are SCPs based on the 2 initial children of Eve, Cain and Abel. SCP-076-2 is called Able, but then that's pretty close.
For those who didn't know, the Indian Ocean Missile Experiment resulted in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, which may have been covered up by the Foundation as an earthquake.
Patmos refers to the island of Patmos, where John wrote the book of Revelation after having a vision.

It's my headcanon that SCP-001, "The Gate Guardian", is the reason that SCP-001, "When Day Breaks", wouldn't destroy the earth. It would destroy the solar system.
The second the mutation effect damaged "The Gate Guardian" he would realize where this perceived attack was coming from (the newly designated SCP-001 "The Sun"), and destroy it. Causing a supernova which would destroy the solar system in the process.
How I imagine them meeting goes like this.
The Gate Guardian doesn't care that humanity is basically gone, for he has a duty to guard Eden. But, the Sun (Which there is evidence to suggest it is alive) wants to corrupt the Gate Guardian. After killing countless flesh abominations, the Gate Guardian gets fed up with it and erases the Sun from existence. The Gate Guardian would then resume to stand guard at the gates of Eden.

SCP-001 is definitely one of my top 10 favorite SCPs. I don't exactly think its "scary" really, but the amazing power this angel possess is pretty frightening in itself. It's not even really its appearance that bothers me. I think it looks dope. Especially the drawing you made of it.
To know 001 could completely destroy *anything* from *anywhere* that even tries to harm it. Like how it blew up the entire research bunker, simply because they terminated a D-class for following the telepathic orders he got from a giant angel. Which I guess 001 didn't appreciate since it's the authority within that 3km (or more) radius zone. I definitely don't blame 076/Able for *not* wanting to even go anywhere near the garden. I don't know wth 073/Cain was thinking for trying after he *murdered* his own brother, Able, there over 10,000 years ago.

As I recall it, the submarine was located at around the Indian Ocean roughly 8000 km from the site. everything else was going according to this video until the warhead crossed the 1 km mark. It destroyed the warhead and the submarine. SCP 001 didn’t cross his wings nor the warhead detonated.

You're probably remembering an alternate timeline. Maybe the same way that the signal went through the gate into our world, perhaps that's how the Mandela effect originates? Information leaking into our universe that is very similar, but not quite the same.
As far as I know, Experiment E was never mentioned, or if it was, it was changed to suddenly be much, much more sinister with its actual redaction.
I was kind of disappointed by the interpretation of the Experiment E redaction, as the Gate Guardian's current proposal document literally states after the readacted experiment, "See Indian Ocean Submarine Missle Experiment, December 26, 2004."
If you just google the date December 26, 2004, you will get tons of news clippings and a wikipedia article about the Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami event. It was the third largest earthquake ever recorded and killed around 227,000 people. When I read that, I felt such a feeling of dread, with the implication that the missle and subsequent angelic reaction caused that natural disaster, decimating 14 neighbouring countries around the Indian Ocean. But in this video, nope. The result wasn't some of the world's most destructive tsnumanis and earthquakes ever recorded, but just a destruction of Foundation boats, a yatch, and some airplanes, and a death toll of 35,000 instead. It felt very underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I love SCP Illustration's videos and efforts, but that lack of research disappointed me and made Experiment E's dreadful implication to feel very lacking.

instead of a gigant aligator thing in acid getting transported
