Smoking and then frying is amazing. I did it with bacon wrapped hot dogs in the smoker, then dipped in the corn batter and fried to make corn dogs. This rub sounds amazing, can’t wait to give it a try. Can you let us know what flavor smoke you’re using when you smoke things? Keep up the great work!

1:30 Sam, it is possible to make a smoker in DIY fashion using two disposable aluminum trays and a "cigarette" made of aluminum foil filled with smoking chips. Guga (the food RUclipsr) made a smoker this way in one of his episodes. A pair of binder clips hold the two trays together over a cooling rack with items to be smoked. A hole cut in one of the trays let the smoke out, and the smoldering cigarette was at the other end of this DIY smoker. It worked great and cost hardly anything.
A really cool idea I've always wanted to try is cold smoking a chuck roast and short ribs and then grind the beef to make smoked smash burgers. Could be a super cool idea for you guys to try.

Did a 7lb batch very similar to this last weekend for a party, definitely the best wings I've ever made. Didn't have a fryer available but basically air-fried in the oven at the end.

All summer I've been smoking the wings then grilling them for the heathier option to frying. Come out really good on a hot grille with the char marks!

We did this with our Thanksgiving turkey last year and it was amazing. It’s extra work to smoke it then deep fry it afterwards but it was worth it!
