The current Slipknot lineup has just as many MFKR members as this band so I feel this project is in complete respect of the MFKR legacy. Would be especially cool if Josh or Donnie joined lol
Yeah, since Josh and Donnie didn't quit music and still active that would be cool. But these new guitarists seems have it nailed really cool, so I think it doesn't matter if any of the original members except Anders are included.
And yeah, since Craig and Chris were fired, this dream MFKR band is: Anders, Craig, Chris, Joey (if he was alive), Paul (if he was alive), Donnie, Josh. Hehe. But it is cool as is, so whatever❤ Much respect to the guys for preparing and making it happen🎉

I’d prefer seeing this than Slipknot today lol 🤷🏻♂️ I’ve been going to Slipknot shows since 2002, last one being In 2022. Although they still put on a good show, it’s just not the same band (obviously) and it was very evident to me last time I saw them so I felt sad. Seeing Anders perform these songs live would be way cooler to me at this point as a 32 Y/O.

I found this album online shortly after ST was released in 99. I was 12 years, and new to heavy music in general so I honesty at the time didnt think about how different MFKR sounded, and probably didnt know for a good year that it was a different singer. The best part about seeing Slipknot in 2001 was realizing they were playing 'Gently' (this was prior to Iowa being released so it was a big surprise).

This album was before Corey was in the band so it doesn't really matter. I believe Corey was asked about it in an interview and he said it sounded like a cool idea.

Only One is one of my favorite Slipknot songs. If Slipknot had not changed their sound, they would have never made it. MFKR sucked.
