    I just starting truly taking care of my relaxed hair as of like 5 months ago. I’ve been relaxed since I was like 11 ( I’m 21) and I’ve learned so much the last few months. The absolute game changer for my hair was moisturizing and sealing every night. I used to brush through my brittle dry no oil broken hair and expect it to grow 😣 I’m still at shoulder length but omg it’s SO thick and healthy. I LOVE your hair and your videos. You are truly beautiful! Can you do a video on the protective style braids that you do? I want to start wearing braids but no idea we’re to start.

    Ma’am can I tell you???… I’ve been natural for 5 years now going on 6 and I always loved my hair in a Silk Press.
    I was very good at maintaining my natural hair, but the 5-8hour wash days have gotten me hating my own hair….
    I dediced that I wanted to just cut it all off, but maybe I should get my hair relaxed first, just to get that Silk Press feeling one more time before cutting.
    BUT, thank God I came accross your channel:
    1. Your hair is gorgeous and you take such great care of it.
    2. I am looking forward to relaxing my hair with all the information from your channel, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU🙏🏽

    Hi Queen first of all you are so pretty mashaallah , and your hair seems so good and amazing third thank you for this amazing video that I got a lot of information from and you’re also replying to all of the comment of your subscribers which is really nice from you❤
    My first question is don’t your hair get dry when you just use oil once a week and don’t use any product with a week I want to do that but my hair is feels dry right after one or two days from washing it. How to maintain that
    My second question is getting a box of bread made my relax hair really fall out badly even though I took care of it and I love it for a good amount of time and I want to keep my hair protective style but I’m not sure which one is the best so do you recommend me some tips so I could go back to wear a box braid but it actually help me this time
    And last could you please post a tutorial on how you flat iron your hair because it looks that it has been done professionally
    May god protect you pretty 💗

    • @NiaraAlexis
      @NiaraAlexis  Год назад +1

      Hi! First, try using moisturizing products. I also soak my hair in black castor oil before I wash it which helps with moisture. Second, the braids might be too heavy. I like low tension styles and box braids do tend to have a lot of tension. I would try something lighter like knotless braids or a Marley twist (I have tutorials for both on my channel). I hope that helps! ❤️

      Hi! & welcome to the dark side 😈 hahaha jk jk so I wash my hair once a weeks so mostly everything gets used once a week. I use the Jamaican black castor oil the night before I wash on my ends and scalp as a type of treatment. & then the dry conditioner & ghost oil spray I use when I feel like I need it. Hope that helps!

    Do you ever moisturize and seal?

    • @NiaraAlexis

      No not really. The only oil I add to my hair is once a week before I wash letting Jamaican black castor oil sit on my ends & scalp for a day. The weight of the oil makes my hair too greasy.

    Do you ever do the baggy method? Also when you went back relaxed, did your stylist comb the relaxer through?
    I wanna relax mine and I know the stylist is gonna comb it through. I'll try telling her to not do it, but stylists usually hate when you try and "teach" them. I'm so wary of the flat hair but I hope i can nurse it back to health afterwards. My hair is too dense and thick, even for my mom and I to handle alone

    • @NiaraAlexis
      @NiaraAlexis  Год назад +1

      I’ve never heard of the baggy method what is that? & I’ve always done my own hair. I never comb but I do smooth with my hands. So I’ll just go through and smooth everything down to make sure I get the relaxer everywhere

    • @swisdom9117
      @swisdom9117 Год назад +1

      @@NiaraAlexis look it up! The baggy method is where you put on your leave in conditioner to, say the ends of your hair or all of your hair, then put a steam cap/plastic bag over it like you're doing a deep treatment. You leave it on for like 10m then remove it and seal in all the moisture with an oil of your choice. Look it up. Another vid can probably explain better than me lol

    • @NiaraAlexis

      Agreed. I think as long as it’s suitable for your hair type, the shampoo cleans without stripping and the conditioner leaves your hair feeling good you should be fine.
