My heart literally breaks when I listen to this piece, it’s so, so moving. As a chuunibyou myself, episode 11 and this anime In general really hit me. The pain that Rikka felt, I saw myself in that. The desire to make a realty of your own, so you won’t have to be consumed by the one you were brought up in; it was so strong, that I almost lost myself completely. In many ways, being a magic user has saved me. In other ways, it’s opened my eyes to a harsher world of conflict and loss, but when you have magic in a world like that… it’s really not all that bad. It’s a place to run to, where you can truly be yourself.
This melody speaks a thousand words. Chunibyo has saved my life, it has saved me and so many more wonderful friends. I wouldn’t be who I am today without my past, and my identity.
So many memories arise when listening to this melody. The piano gives me chills, and the violin gives me a strange feeling. It also reminds me a feeling of pain, since a story like that is funny and sad and at the same time romantic. I recommend it to everyone, especially on winter, it is just fantastic.
My sister never understood this anime, but I did. 2 years ago I finally went to California. We went to a beach as the sun was setting, and my dad said this, "This ocean goes all the way to Japan. I felt something, like my gut was going off. But there was no danger. I finally saw what it was, only a year after my great grandpa past away. It was the feeling Rikka had when she first saw the unseen horizon. However, I saw it about 1 year in advanced.
This song is really very sad, painful, deep, to the point that it makes me shed tears repeatedly because I immediately remember all the bitter memories in my life about life, family, romance, friendship in my life at one time, but by crying a lot it will make my heart feel more relieved and calm down after that to live a better life every day. 😭😭😢😢😊😊❤❤💔💔

the reason I loved this anime was because it seemed to convey everything the right way. These few episodes used dark color pallets, sad music, and the more I think about this song and these episodes in my head the more my stomach hurts. This anime makes you feel how it wants you to. Memorable moments are easily the most memorable, sad ones are depressing, etc. I just need help on finding the rest of the episodes (im only at S2 E13) im pretty sure it's done for now (but there's a movie or something?) but if there are more episodes, please let me know!
I also found this when trying to find Darling in the Franxx but some clickbaiter posted up to like the first entire season and I didn't know that this was actually called chuunibyou and it didn't end at the first season and it made me really happy that there was more and I'm freaking dumb

That is, until recently when i found others like me. I made a family with them. i truly cherish them like siblings. Also among them is my girlfriend, one of the few who i think really understand me. I remember listening to this in a bad time in my life. That feels far-away now. Tw suicide I was preparing a suicide attempt, but this show dragged me out of it. Seeing the friendships they had, it made me want to wait for that. Im glad i did. I owe my current life to this show... In any case, i love this song and this show. Im rambling.
