Also TV height is the biggest limiting factor since tall TV stands tend to look weird/ I don't like looking up to watching TV. Anyway good luck! I'll check out your video when it's done ;)
Great vid, Iam currently trying to work out how to raise two cupboards totalin 4 to each side of the fixed bed, which allows me to raise the cupbourd so I don;t have to bend over to access clothes any ideas that might help
Check out my other video of the hidden bar I built. Might be able to use that to help. You probably want to have a track if possible to keep it in place and tracking if you have a bunch of weight.
Thanks will do, there is not to much weight just T shirts I have just been looking at Firgelli Automations column lifter I have to make the bed frame and then work out the lift height also I have to take into account the curvature of the trailer walls which I am fitting this in @@NATHANBUILDS
Congratulations for your job. I’m impressed by the level of quality and how many tools you have (one for each activity). This makes the whole difference. The cabinet is great.
Thanks! And yes you are absolutely right, the right tool makes everything easier/more precise. That said, you can definitely make this with mostly a circular saw and drill.

Hey buddy, this content was amazing. Here in my country everything is too much expensive. This tv lift is gorgeous! Thank you for this video, kip up producing more videos like this!
Great video loved how you even showed your little mistakes too ! Bravo from the uk … I’m looking at making a cabinet for the end of the bed as my wife hates tv s in the bedroom but loves to watch tv in bed. (I know I know!) What is the lift time from top to bottom of this tv lift?
Hi Nathan. This is great! One question I have, did you mount the lift to the side of the cabinet or bottom? And can you point to which exact mdoel was it? Cause I checked their website and all the lifts looked like they had bottom mounting brackets. Thanks
Hey thanks! The lift mounts to the back of the cabinet. They have great directions as well so don't worry. Check out the video description for a link to the one I used. You can switch it up depending what size tv you want. However anything larger than the one I used will not work with my cabinet design so keep that in mind! You can increase the height of the cabinet if you need to accommodate a larger tv, but I thought the current dimensions looked best.
Hello! This is exactly the video i needed! I could not find the cabinet that i had in my head and now i am going to make it! 🙌🏻 the only thing i wanted to ask is; how thick are the plywood boards?! Thanks again!

Hey! Unfortunately the shipping alone would be probably $1k. I also don't have the time. You could probably hire a local craftsman to build it and use my design. Good luck!
@Nathan builds I would like to ask a question 🙋🏻♂️ in the beginning of the prologue the TV lift made a loud sound I’m curious 🤔 was that sound affects ? 🔊or was it natural.
Hey! Thanks! I get my plywood at a small place near me. Best way to find lumber places is to look on the woodworking subreddit. Usually someone knows a place near you.
I get it from a little local place. I find the woodworking subreddit is a great place to ask about finding places that sell hard wood and nice plywood. It can be hard sometimes on your own. Good luck!
You could definitely adjust to fit whatever size if they sell a big enough lift. The challenge was making the height of the cabinet not too tall so it still looked good. With a taller TV you have less options for that.
How to build a tv cabinet when you have a carpentry shop in your backyard. This is exactly the same design i want to make except the tv is facing the opposite way so i can have it infront of my bed.
@@NATHANBUILDS indeed, can I ask how did you cable manage for the movement of the tv? as that was what I wanted to learn. I was thinking of cable tying one point to the side of the cabinet with cable slack so it stays out of the way and maybe i'll add a firewall to ensure it does not touch the lift mechanism.
Yes that is exactly what I did. The lift comes with cable ties. It has power on the lift so you don't need to run that up. I didn't use a firewall and I don't think you need to. I've not had any issues so far.
Has anyone ever tried to create a hidden stereo cabinet? I have an old antique stereo that I gutted out, but I can't find a lift framework that I can use to hide components.

What is that purple or pink stuff you layed underneath the boards when cutting them?
That is foam insulation. It provides support and doesn't dull your blade if you cut into it. Very handy!

Thanks! I don't sell them but you can make one! Check out the video description for details.

Nice build! Is that a harbor freight table I see?
The work bench I actually made - there is a video of you're interested!
And thanks 😊
@@NATHANBUILDS I am interested! To the video I go!
Do you think I can build this if my only electronic saw is a jigsaw?
Theoretically you could with a straight edge. I would invest in a circular saw if you are taking this on though. The cuts will be much cleaner.
That’s a really nice build but that lift sounds loud!
In person it isn't something that would bother me day to day. You can hear it though.
So impressive, very jealous of your capabilities lol
Just takes some practice!
Impresionante, me suscribo.

Muito bom. Congratulações!

what size lift did you use?
I used the 29" one mostly due to not wanting the base of the cabinet to go above the window in my guest room.
@@NATHANBUILDS we are also putting one under a window. What is the maximum height that the TV can be when inside the cabinet?
46", but I was even able to move it a bit further. Will depend on the bezels on the tv and such.
WOW
