I’d love to do a video with my Dad like this, my dad has a super thick grey and white beard and he’s 53 and I’m 21 with the beard I have in my display pic. We’ve got very different hair, his moustache is amazing but my lower lip is way fuller and my hair is much curlier whereas my dads beard is like a thicker version of Greg’s but has similar straight beard hair to Greg. You’re really right about there being variation in families.
I tell people that I'm 21, but most people refuse to accept as I'm bearded. I'm wondering what they'll say when they see your beard!!!

@Stian Berg thats true about the maximum potential but I used it for a year and got maybe 5 hairs total on my cheeks and a full moustache other than that it made my skin permanently dry been off over a year as well as some nasty big blisters

I have the exactly opposite problem, weak cheeks on 2 specific points but connected mustache and chin, idk if it's worth to grow em or not
Wtahcing your previous video I was sporting a full beard of about 5 inches long throughout. Few nights ago i trimmed my sides to stuble and left my long goatee. All the years of growth gone in a matter of minutes. I enjoyed the experience more than I had originally thought. I get to watch it grow now and start all over. Thanks fellas good luck once again on your speedy growth back.

Hey Greg, I was the one who commented on your IG that I can't grow a mustache and you said that my beard pattern sounds like your Victor. I can confirm that our beard growth patterns are the same right down to the bald patches 😁. Great to see the progress guys.

This vlog series is really cool, because I'm too in the 6th week or my bearded journey.
This was the turning point for me. The first time I thought it looked good, and got a lot of compliments from my friends and coworkers. So don't be impatient, this time will come sooner or later.

I think your beards are great. Greg, you and the team have shown me that no matter how your beard grows or doesn't grow, you can still rock it with pride. I am right there with you on on the growth date. I last shaved October 30th. This is the longest time I have gone without trimming.

Victor's beards looks crazy, I'm 21 aswell and i have full beard with some patches on my cheeks, been growing it for just about 3 months the length is just about 2 inches. Last year hair wouldn't grow good at all on my cheeks so i had a goatee it was like 4 or 5 inches long.

What is Victor studying at ASU? I've been wanting to go back to school to study Astronomy at ASU.
They do have a pretty decent astronomy and physics department.

I'm 25 and tho I haven't fully shaved in 7 years my beard grows almost grows as fast as Greg's beard.
Love this video....I can't grow a full beard, it's just not working with the cheek area. And so I am doing a goatee now and it is looking good so I am happy.
Its realy interesting that the blank parts of Victor are similiar to the parts where Greg has a darker beard. Maybe Greg also got hair in this area at a higher age and thats why it isnt "white" yet.
I love you guys. I always wanted a beard but my face was always patchy and after a couple of weeks i used to clean shave as i thought i looked silly and growth was very slow. But since following you on your beard updates, i'v stuck with it for the longest iv ever attempted and people are actually saying it suits me (although my cheeks are very slow at catching up). I'm over the moon and cant wait to see how it looks after a couple more months. Keep up the good work, you're an inspiration!
I'm only 37 and I have the natural salt and pepper thing going on .its white and has been getting more white by the month.. I couldn't believe it when I looked at it this morning it was just strands here and there that were white.. But now it's patches that have turned completely silver and white.. But yet I barely have a white hair on my head.. But my beard is a whole other story.. I noticed the first white hairs on my chin at age 32-33 back in 2014 ..and the difference between then and now.. Is definitely an indication of things to come
The back of my hair is still black, as is my body hair.....go figure.

My brothers were notorious for letting their peach fuzz grow while I shaved mine constantly but my brother is only 11 months younger than me but he is just getting his beard now at age 35..and same genetics.. But 2 different beards.. No matter how much we look alike.. His beard growth is completely different.
Hey, Greg, I have a question about your hair. I have the same length but want to have it in that style. How do you go about styling it that way? Do you blow dry it? my hair is always a mess when I try to blow dry it. Would love to see a vid on it. Cheers
I did a version of styling this hair last week with the hair kit. I will be doing an update probably at the beginning of the year on my current style.
@@BerzinskyRules I like my hair short, my wife likes it longer so I gave in and starting to grow it out. You have one of the best longer hair styles I've seen. The down side for me, I got a Mustang convertible for my 60th birthday. Longer hair and wind, not usually a good combination. I'll stay tuned for your current style update.

I am an year younger than Victor and I have a full beard, however my mustache is staying short. Every family member is forcing me to shave in order for it to grow and to be honest I know that this does not affect, but I am at a point where I am considering it. Would you suggest shaving it or just keep trimming and caring about it? Cheers

I am 18 turning 19 in March and my moustache has some hairs that grow fast and are visible and then majority of hairs that are slower in growth and are only visible upon looking at it with a mirror close up. Was just wondering why that is?

@@michaelechutem995 Hahaha as a 23 year old now my beard has filled in and hairs are getting thicker as I get older, still some areas of patchiness due to thickness not being consistent but I have full coverage that covers those areas of thickness if i let it grow for 4-6 weeks! I guess everything happens with time lol

I have ZERO beard at 17....a bit at 21....but not much until 30 and it still was spotty. See the 40 years of beard and hair styles from me here on the channel.

We watch as a family my husband been growing his beard set October with out trimming it much Fuller now and more gray.. are 9 year old already has upper lip hair that he stoked about😏 but his brother that's 14 had no hair at all .. my husband could not grow his face hair out tell he was in his 30s

Your sons beard is lookin good man, has more facial hair than I do at this point but I'm catchin up(20 years old). The biggest thing is the area under the mouth, have to be able to grow hair there or the beard will just look off in my opinion. But to each his own. Definitely got your facial hair genes. I’m 20 and my sideburns and chin hair grows quite well. My stache is just behind and my cheeks have been making progress. I got the same little bald spots as you guys haha. I shave once a month and it seems to keep getting thicker on the cheeks stache and neck. Victors progress is super interesting to see here ‘n there. Just get that cheekbone trimmed down a bit and his beard is looking nice

im 20 and after this recent november ive found that my beard dramatically changed in terms of growth, that was only a space of about 4 months , beards take time + patience
This was awesome to see... I grew my beard for 6 weeks - and on thanksgiving my family was like - wow - keep the beard... Made my dad want to grow his out - but he thinks my beard comes in better than his - 6 weeks was right around the time I saw the best look for me and my beard!

I'm at week 7 now. I've never gone unshaven past week 3 but thanks to your videos, I said I'd give it a try. It's looking great at the moment but every now and again I get one or two stragglers pointing out horizontally and they cannot be tamed! I've tried oils but nothing works, so I end up just cutting them off. Any tips on how to keep them at bay? Thanks Greg, love the videos. Keep it up!

I love the father son videos you guys do. I hope my sons will have a similar relationship with me as they get older. Im just growing my first real beard at 36 now and they seem to like it so im going to keep growing.
My uncle has had his beard for 40 years, however has trimmed it loads of times in my lifetime and have saw it at varying lengths from fisherman to heavy stubble, but has never shaved it off in that time. Currently, it's very long like Santa Claus (down to his chest). He trims his moustache so that it's still thick, but he can continue to eat without his facial hair obstructing his lips. I'm 40 years younger and mine is full, but tends to grow outwards rather than longer. Is this an age thing or will mine grow longer if I give it more time? Longest I've ever went without shaving was 3 months.
it is quite wholesome to see you two like that. I really hope that I will have such a bond too if I should have a son in the future. I guess Victor's beard must have grown out quite a bit after 4 years and now being around 25 :)

Victors beard is growing the same rate as mine so I really hope he sticks it out for 90 days along with us new-growers
I was also blond as a child then hair turned darker to medium brown. Also my mustache didn't fill in until my 30s. By 35 I could grow a full beard pattern without missing sections.

I haven't cut it since Jake did in in the Spring. Although, I have trimmed the lettuce at my neck and ears a bit.

I know this is off subject, but you tell me who the painting behind you is by? I started my beard just about when you did so I like to see your progress and compare with mine.
I caved... trimmed it as slightly as I could to even out the beard. One side was growing so much faster and thicker and it showed poorly if you looked at my neckline cut.
My older brother used to have a fuller and strong beard since the 18 or before but mine is still growing and getting better now that am at his age

My beard is/was the same as victor, I’m 24 now and it’s still not as full on my upper and lower lip as I’d like, but it’s getting there. And it looked almost the same as his when I was 21
