I have a pair of the Demonia Dank 101 and i have to reglue the bottom every so often but i love them. I also have a pair of newrock reactors that ive worn for 15 years and yeah like you said they are built really well.
I have a big New Rock collection and am so in love with the brand, always impressed with the quality of their shoes. I never had a pair of Demonias but always wondered how they compared to the New Rocks. Great video!
New Rocks @ $474? Isn't that the model number and not the price. These are 474's. They are very well made. New Rock is a quality product. Some of the models are timeless. I've seen then still good to go at 20 years old. Many New Rock models are smart enough yet unembellished and unostentatious enough to be worn in many situations.I've seen then being worn by architect types or professionals of some sort in a suit at work. It's about having the nuances to make them work with your outfit in your situation. That shows a certain maturity of thinking outside the box. It may be almost equivalent of a masonic handshake, but more like a club badge. The velcro fastening can get clogged with fluff and become ineffective over time. They are very easy to take on and off. In fact they'll even survive pulling them on by the rear panel which is only attached at the spine. I never thought of this until I got a pair that had got ripped at the spine and wondered why I hadn't seen it more often. I've always thought of Demonia as the go to if New Rocks are out of your price range. The do do some nice Doc Marten type boots too that are vegan and knee length with a side zip.

My demonias platform broke after two freaking months, just ordered a pair of new rocks tho, so hopefully they'll last.
