Ren is singing in his native language welsh at the begining his eulogy wales is a brythonic celtic country its next to England to the west ❤
What amazes me is rich beauty of Ren's music. Honestly, I am not a fan of hip hop and rap in general. But I can listen to Ren all day long--anything he creates. Seven Sins I think is a masterpiece. If it were performed by another artist in a contemporary style of droning rap with a simple beat, it would not come near to perfection it is now.
Agreed 100%, could not put it better.
i suspect that there is allot more to rap than you know, but while ren can rap it is just one of the tools in his box.
Thank you so much for giving me a call out and reacting to this great song. This was one of Ren's favorites that he put together recently and he put in many styles of music and combined crazy flows. This style isn't for everyone but glad half of you enjoyed it.
You're right to look shocked, we already know he's incredibly talented but this is a step up.
When he talks about the unrelenting pain, he’s describing a particular event. He once was overwhelmed by he pain when he was in his kitchen. He dropped to the floor and lay there in agony, totally helpless. The incident led into his first psychotic break.
I think Welsh is one of the most beautiful of all languages…so musical. Like Gaelic. I remember as a child, listening to Richard Burton recite something ….and first it was in English. Then I think he spoke in Latin. Then he spoke in Welsh. I’d never heard Welsh before, and I was a kid. It gave me chills. Ever since, I’ve loved that tongue. So poetic. It has words for levels of longing that we find difficult to articulate in English, a Germanic language.
Welsh has some Latin influence in the language already 😁
@@jackieroberts7895 really? Are you sure? From when the Romans controlled southern Britain ? So adding some Latin to normal Celtic speech…and then the Angles and Saxons invaded and pushed the Celts into Wales….?

Jackie is correct. The Latin in Welsh is due to both Welsh and Latin being rooted in the Proto Indo-European language, and then from the Roman Invasion in the West of Brythonic ‘Britain’ where an old version of Welsh was spoken all the way up to Strathclyde in Scotland. The Latin words that remain in Welsh from this period are different to the Latin seen in the English language, especially in modern English. The days of the week in Welsh should be familiar to those who know the ‘Romance Languages’ - dydd Llun, dydd Mawrth, dydd Mercher, dydd Iau, dydd Gwener, dydd Sadwrn, dydd Sul - which are also names of five planets, and the Llun relating to the moon, the Sul to Sun. Bridge is pont, window is ffenestr, a chair is cadair (think Portuguese), thieves are lladron, a horse is ceffyl, and I could go on. I find that Welsh grammar is closer to the Latin-based languages than it is to English, but far from identical. Welsh grammar is a beautiful beast, shall we say.

"I watched him tie a rope and jump". He cried, begged, pleaded, and eventually gave up on and curse his god/god's (they were dead to him). He then, bowed to his new god (his disease) and begged for mercy.....
I'm with your husbands face and energy on this one... He was listening to the words and meanings 2:43 but Ren says SO MUCH! Then, the beat takes over you forget everything and even though you don't hear some of the lyric's he feels the energy. Its nothing to smile to xD... It is ok not to catch all the lyric's in one go... 4:15 DO NOT say sorry! I LOVED you felt the song like that. You are so reserved... Its good to see you REALLY feel the music! You have to also remember Ren released this album on Friday the 13th. (Horror film and much more back story)

Guys, without getting into a long rant... loved your honesty... Andrev (sorry if i´ve butchered your name), your love for HIP HOp shows, and you can appreciate the flow switces and the artestry behind the lyricism in this magnificent piece, as dominica (sorry, by the same reason) can appreceate the poetry and immagination to weeb this creation, in spite that this doen't sonic pleases her appetite...

You recognized straight away that his first verse was Welsh...and (from my experience) many American reactors seemed puzzled by that as we AREN'T TAUGHT different languages (unless we are in private schools) therefore are often blinded and our views are narrowed. Thank you as always! Dominika, I encourage you to try this one again with lyrics on the screen. Musically it of course will never be your favourite Ren song, but it may still be the most ambitious one; lyrically it's insane. The amount of thoughts he packed into this few short minutes is unbelivable. I believe this song will grow on you. Love you guys. ❤

Dude, Ren deserves all the flowers he gets. Believe me when I say that he’s my favourite new artist probably since Eminem broke into the hip hop scene. But, he’s not the first rapper to rap about real things by a long shot. I respect her for sticking to her guns. She doesn’t like hip hop and hasn’t changed her mind just because it’s Ren

Rens music is a statement and that however hard you it gets, you can get through your own hardships
He was definitely influenced by rage against the machine in the 90s, Bill Hicks, the movie Zeitgeist which you can find on RUclips and you should totally watch. It’s an independent movie by Peter Joseph and covers the monetary, religious, and war industries. ❤❤❤❤
