I can’t go a day without watching 1 of your tutorials! They are so informative as well as giving me a chuckle from time to time. I kept pointing out the pink butterfly on the table but you weren’t listening! Lol. I put what I learn from you to use every day now. Thank you thank you thank you!
Ceri, I LOVE learning from you! Your tutorials are well-organized and simple to follow, and I can tell by your many tips and tricks that you are detail oriented, as am I. I particularly like that you encourage us to adapt items that we have on hand so we don't have to go out and buy unnecessary supplies or equipment. These faux stamps turned out just lovely. Thank you for the time you spent to teach us this process. Looking forward to your future tutorials. From Cheryl in AZ, USA
Just wanted to say thank you, for your lessons (and even companionship during the long nights, when things aren’t not so great for me, health wise!…6 …I am getting better everyday and I do love my crafting time, when I can do it. Silly as it sounds I imagine you and your sister and Biscuit as far off cousins, …and even imagine that someday, you and I, having a cup of tea, while comparing crafty notes on a foggy, rainy day!). ….But as an older grandma in the U.S…. That can only happen in my heart… so best wishes and my your cup always be full!

Ceri- brand new subscriber who has binge watched your older videos this past weekend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the tutorials. I have learned so much from you, and as a new artist, unless you count cooking as an art, you have made my beginning steps in papercraft enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your process, knowledge and cheerful self with us.
There are so many things about Ceri's videos that I enjoy; his talent and willingness to share are marvelous, but one very important aspect of the videos that I think is especially important is his"if it works, it works, and if it doesn't, what have you lost?" attitude. If there was a school devoted, solely, to teaching the creative life, that should be the first lesson of the first class- being an artist \ crafts person \ creative means having a willingness to take risks to a certain degree. A curiosity, a willingness to try something without being so fixated on how it turns out. Years ago, I read a quote that said, " Even Picasso had to BECOME Picasso," and he did that by taking risk. I am not advocating taking truly dangerous risks, but do not let fears of things not turning out as you envisioned (the elusive, even mythical "perfect") to hold you back.
Jerald, thank you. I’ve found in life development only happens as a result of the struggles we go through, create, observe and learn, its the way forward
Ceri, I simply want to thank you for your thorough and delightful videos. I smile as much as I learn, what a gift that is! And I hope I have a tip that will help with the sticky ends of your tapes and the challenge you have getting them started again. I simply fold the end of the tape back on itself when I’mfinished using it. Then it’s easily started the nect time I go to use it. Again, thank you for being you!
Oh Ceri, I just love your style of teaching. You DO NOT over explain anything. You are very thoughtful in assuring that newbies like us get the full understanding of the process. I don’t watch many channels that have 1 hour videos, but I watch yours because they are so valuable and encouraging to those of us that wish to create and discover a larger world of art making. THANK YOU for the time you take to share your knowledge and emphasize our need to be ourselves and do it “our way” without apologies. And THESE STAMPS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL! I love this idea! Thank you for sharing it with all of us. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, your video could be 2+ hours long, and I would still watch it in its entirety and not fast forward thru any of it. You have a very calming voice and I like to listen to what you have to say. Hoping your Alaska cruise is everything and more than what you were hoping for. Ahoy, mate! Good day.

Can’ believe found you just now and not earlier! And I was watching quite a lot of various craft videos. Your tutirials are perfectly explained and lots of inspiration.
Hello, Ceri! I've still pretty new at junk journaling - only about a year or so in. I recently found your channel and watched several of your videos in one day. You are now my favorite go-to channel!!! This is a wonderful video as is your video on how to make postcards utilizing paper scraps that would otherwise be thrown out. That was absolutely brilliant. You gave me so many ideas that my head is spinning. LOL. I also think it is rather beautiful that you are a male crafter. I appreciate your guided videos as you are so easy to listen to and follow along with. You always have great advice to give as well. I'm looking forward to watching all of your videos. Keep up the wonderful work!
Thank you Trish, as you’re new to the craft I’d suggest creating a note book for your ideas and things that inspire you, I had one when I started because like you I was flooded with inspiration.
So happy I watched this. I love using postage stamps and now I know how to make my own. I like watching your vid because of all the tips. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Mass making definitely saves time when filling a journal. It's nice to have ready-made ephemera on hand. These are great! Hi and hugs to you and Biscuit.

My sister and I got together to make a bunch of these postage stamps yesterday. We used the pinking shear method that you showed and they turned out great. Thanks so much for the great tutorials that you share.
Bravo 👏Ceri!! Honestly I think it's Genius how you make the Washi stamps! I don't have much Washi but sure have was to use some now. I made faux stamps with tiny images from catalogs. This is another fun way to try. The double cut with the scissors is brilliant too. May there be Blessings, positive vibes that cause constant ripples of peace, health and happiness for all who need it in these unsure times! Namesta ✌️🐞🕉️

I ordered several types of tearing rulers. I got a set like yours. I find that the thickness of the plastic makes it more difficult for me to tear my paper. I also found a metal one (I think Joy made it. I got it on Amazon). It was much easier for me. Then, I watched a few you tube videos in which the makers made their own. They used a cheap plastic ruler from the dollar store and a hot iron to burn little wedges into the edges of the rulers. Those are my favorite! I can get a more random edge and it’s so much easier for me to use. It did not hurt my iron at all. If you are interested, I could post a link for a few of the videos. I really love this idea and your stamps are lovely! Hugs, treen 💜💜💜
Hi Katrine, when I first started I thought I had to have a tear ruler and I use it in my videos because many people have one but a lot of the time when I’m creating off camera I just use a metal ruler or no ruler at all. Thank you for the tip though it’s a good one.

Hi Ceri, I am new to jj and don't have all the fancy stuff like digiprints or stamps. So I started making stamps just like you showed in this video without having watched any tutorial showing how to do this. During this process of trying things out I discovered the trick with the double cut with the pinking scissors by accident! I really love to play with my stuff that I already have instead of buying new things that are already finished. Greetings from Germany! Nicole
First time here, loving your faux stamps with washi tape! Brilliant putting them on book pages, and going from there. I’ll have to have at more of your videos, have a bit of a binge.
Thank you for this! It’s a beautiful way to do this! I think I’ll use a similar process to decorate my “inchie” journals. Yes, they are just one inch square, but there are so many things you can do. I had not, however, thought of using “framed” washi tape! This will be a great addition!

You’re welcome lovely lady.
How cool are these!?!?!? I just received one of the washi tapes you have this week. Can’t wait to try this. Yes, your tutorials are so accommodating to your viewers. I taught fir years and you certainly have a spot on style. TY, Ceri.
Thank you Sally.

Hi Ceri-Thank you - your explanations are spot on! Wonderful inspiration!
Thank you
Great video! I do enjoy making faux stamps, but I never thought of using my Washi! Thanks for the tip! 😃
You’re welcome, it’s fun.
Nicole
Nicole, you're right you don't always need all of the gadgets you just need to play and find a way that works for you, I'm the same.
Wow, GREAT assortment of washi, love it
Thank you
First time viewer after a Gayle A recommendation. Subscribed and look forward to binge watching you Ceri

You are so welcome
Great ideas!!! Many thanks! 🎉
First time here, loving your faux stamps with washi tape! Brilliant putting them on book pages, and going from there. I’ll have to have at more of your videos, have a bit of a binge.
Lol....thank you
Thank you for this! It’s a beautiful way to do this! I think I’ll use a similar process to decorate my “inchie” journals. Yes, they are just one inch square, but there are so many things you can do. I had not, however, thought of using “framed” washi tape! This will be a great addition!
Great news and I wasn’t aware there was such a thing as an inchie journal.
I may have made them up, myself. I had few supplies, all of them tiny, and I thought, ‘Why not?’
Dear Ceri,
I absolutely love your work :)))
