I submitted a suggestion to the devs (Discord) about upgrading to the latest XeSS (1.3.0) and they confirmed this will be updated 'soon'. Making the gap between FSR and XeSS even bigger.
thank you for your steam deck videos , i got mine last year before oled model anouncement. what are you using to lower temperatures on your lcd steam deck ?
Happy to make them! I changed the thermal paste once after 2yrs of usage, but I think the best way would be to replace the back cover with this: amzn.to/4exEMnQ (Affiliate Link)
If its ram limited will oled help its only faster ram on oled though. I'm hoping that a patch can fix up vram usage. Also would native 800p run at 30fps locked that might be better for ui as well.
UI can be a challenge to get it to fit well on a smaller screen, I've worked on UI before, sometimes you need to redo a lot of UI elements to make it look correct

Excellent! Thanks for that
It’s now verified with a green badge. New gameplay, it runs smooth without tweaking the settings.
Smt v vengeance is what I've been playing 5 watts 30 fps 8 watts 45fps best balance imo 10 watts to get 60 and at max 15 watts 70-90

Many people talk about the PTM 7950 as a good option, check this out www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/x3dzkf/repasted_my_deck_with_ptm_7950/

Yes, should be more stable when targeting 40-45 FPS on the OLED with the faster ram alone
Hey could you try quantum break on steam deck? If not, I love your videos anyway
Soon! I wanted to do Quantum Break for a while!
And now it has green check
Honestly, this game could have been a perfect time killer on the deck
I hope they add XeSS 1.3 soon, I'm more concerned about cpu performance here though, we were so close 🥹
Idk anything about development of games and my bad eyesight makes me upset wheh text legibility isnt at this point just forced by valve.

@@SantiagoSantiago okay I assumed it's hard just annoying thanks for the information I probably asked you before lol
The devs tweeted they're working on making the in-game texts more readible to make the game fully verified
