RARE SUPER CLEAN 1997 Ford 350 4x4 OBS FORD lifted 6 inches on 22s with 37s!

- Today on Salinas I have Michael Rivera's 1997 Ford 350 4x4 that was built by Tweetys Tire!
This BEAUTIFUL OBS was built using a 6 inch rough country lift kit all powder coated lollipop red, using dual FOX shocks with reservoirs!
Running a set of 22 inch Classic Alcoa on 37 inch Toyos!
Fusion front and rear bumpers with Monster Hooks were used on this build as well!
Last but not least AMP side steps were installed to assist Michael to get on his beautiful OBS!

This is back when diesels were actually diesels. Not like the tree hugger diesels they make now that can't even blow smoke.
My point is that you didn't have to do that back then. And even if you do that, then you have to worry about the DOT finding out, passing emissions, and voiding warranties.
Bo Sexton military and emergency vehicles are not required to run DEF and DPF and all the BS. That should tell you right there it's all about making money (I'm 95% sure on this. I just can't find the article)

But don’t do too much research on the batteries that power that car and how bad the production of those batteries are to the environment because then you’ll have to stop driving
diesel fumes are alot heavier then gas so there for diesel smoke has nothing to do with kiling the ozone its all these gasers out there that are killing it

for those who don't know trucks in 97 two body styles came out , this and the round body style. the only difference between a 97 and previous years were the front bumper. which this one has removed.
Clean up those fender wells and swap the front end to coilovers for a smooth ride.

My 96 250 has the grill grey matte gray area sand blasted from 80K miles of road. I thought why not rattle can it the body color? This proves, I was right. Looks great!

The wheels completely killed it.
yup, nothing dumber then 22" wheels and 10 lug adapters. I can't think of a more expensive way to remove all load carrying ability while also making it near useless off-road.

I want to see the interior, also why did you not undercoat the truck and wheel wells? The rims are dumb but all in all nice look for the truck. Sad thing is that truck will never see mud or dirt in its life now.

What is so rare about the truck simple swap, but I woukdnt use the spacers he has on the front then use adapters onto that seems pretty crazy
What truck is the Amp Research running boards off of? I know they don't make them for the OBS's so what make / model is easiest to fabricate to the old body style trucks?

Cool build but dont run block spacers that tall youll get spring wrap. Also, put some newer ford mirrors and not those chevy mirrors. But I do like the wheel/ tire combo

I’m 28 and I hate how this truck looks. And they did a half ass job to boot. No undercoat or anything. They just put glitter on a 20 year old truck without even making sure the truck itself is gonna last.
