Over the years I've really become a fan of clean OBS Ford's and yours is seriously cool! Can't wait to see some of the off road/camping content with it!
Yoy know what happens when you roll a semi truck with DEF delete through the scale house and get pulled in for Level I inspection??.......nothing...it's not their job...that's EPA stuff and you roll right out. So I've heard...the one I ran with insane power....I was never dumb enough to get pulled in.
Admittedly, I never thought too much about those Ford trucks but you definitely have a way of making it interesting and cool. I’ve been binging all of your videos to get to this day lol.
That’s a bad ass truck. Worth every penny to keep it going on the road. I have a 2002 Chevy 1500hd. Wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’ve put a lot of money into it in the past years to make it great again and the only thing I want to do is keep making it better. As much as the brand new stuff is nice, they aren’t the same.
I don’t know why but out of all the cars and builds. This truck has jumped to top 3 for me. Maybe it’s because my dad had one. Or maybe because I am in this old school truck phase. Idk man but thanks for sharing!
Just saw your Video, Very Clean OBS Truck! 100% know the feeling on owning one of these 7.3's. I have a 95 that is very similar to yours. I had to do a double take when I saw this video come up! I got mine in 04 and it's been by far the best vehicle I've owned. best of all....smog exempt here in California!
You just built my wife's dream truck! She currently drives a 1990 F250 Supercab 4x4 IDI 7.3 and she is looking at mid-90's F350's as I type this. Nice build!
I love these trucks, had 3 of them. A 97 regular cab 350 and two 96 crew cab 350s, all 7.3 4x4s and one of the crew cabs had a 5spd. That truck was in beautiful shape but it eventually had a problem of not charging the batteries when it was cold out. I gave up and sold it but damn was it a nice truck
Nice truck! That era of F-250/350 is my absolute favorite. I still like the '56 for a lighter duty truck. My current rig is a Y2k F-250 super-cab, which I plan on never getting rid of unless I'm forced.
Nice work...bought my first diesel truck last yr (2020 Colorado ZR2 off road pack) and use it as a daily and love it. Recently took it on trails which was addictive so def looking forward to some off road content.
Absolutely awesome truck and a very nice build, I have a 95 f150 reg cab short box 4x4 that im going to part with so I can upgrade to one like yours, mines just not heavy enough and I want a truck camper, you have to love these older Fords, the nicest looking truck on the planet. Greetings from BC Canada
I love your build....I have a beat on 97 f350 crew 4x4..gas 351..still going strong ,has served me well,...never lifted it because I work it, the bed height....but you built my dream overlander..almost...
I recently started watching your builds the thing I have observed stancework build projects are one of most most refined and detailed and cleansed build. Just like an ASMR video. All the best for your future build. Love your work soinspiring they are. ❤❤
this this is so sick, i love ford square bodies. had to find them not rusted out in the north east. If you are gonna be in Northern Idaho you should hit up the Grind Hard Plumbing co guys. if you don't know them, they don't do plumbing. Ethan is a DIY master fabricator and they build insane vehicles. Fully fabbed up from the ground up gokart builds that fit power wheels, a turbo BMW off road UTE, exoskeleton rock crawler tacoma, 13b powered drift trike, 2jz powered 70s lawn tractor. you both have amazing eye for detail, ingenuity and knowledge. not saying go film stuff with them but i think you guys would get along and just geek out over fabrication. also the stuff he produces out 70 year old mountain shack garage is crazy.
Great truck and video! i have the same truck only thing i did with my truck is the front universal kit. You gave me a lot of good ideas! OBS forever!! lol
I know obs guys don’t want to hear this especially the 7.3 lovers but these new 6.7’s are pulling 45000lbs that’s semi weight that obs would blow up if it tried to pull that long distance
Man I haven’t seen you’re face in like 6 years. I use to have a printed picture of the slammed Cadillac from like 2014 in my office … pleasant surprise
Its a holy grail truck man... a Ferrari and a 7.3 power stroke... how can you go wrong! Now i'm even more jealous! Only thing I'd change is the front trucker hat bill, love the marker lights on the roof but don't like the roof spoiler... but to each their own lol.
Beautiful man. Working on my build right now. I've just got a 97 crew cab short bed. Did you end up doing 2" or 4" lift? I was wanting to do 4" but I've heard people have trouble with the drive shaft length...
FYI NO LIFT IS NEEDED TO FIT 315/75/16s on the truck. I have a 97 with factor suspension, factory wheels and 35s and all you need to do is trim the bumper tabs just a hair. I also spaced the bumper about .5 inch and it’s perfect. It rubs on full lock on the leaf spring, but that’s inevitable due to the offset of the wheel. Just thought I’d put this here
I have a hard style tonneau cover on my truck. I’ve been wanting to incorporate some rails on the underside of it so I could slide boat style canvas on it. Have zip up windows and magnets on the bottom to keep it from flopping around the outside.
Awesome truck, I have the exact same truck except mine is the 1997 two-wheel drive single-wheel 1-ton version. My second truck is a 1997 F350 7.3 single cab 4x4 flat deck, Only problem is there is only 24 hours in a day,,,. you did a great job.
"Arrive at camp and leave camp in a heat beat" ...mind you everyone in the camp ground will know when you arrive or leave in that beast haha i have to turn mine off at the drive through to hear the person haha
This build began my obsession with OBS Ford trucks.
I just moved from CA to NC, and purchased a similar F250 in red from a local fire department. This truck is my bogey!
That 7.3, is probably the best diesel Ford ever made. But then, I’m sure you are well aware.
Hands down
Ford used
Absolutely
I’m not a ford guy but I have a well loved 95 PSD. 400k+ it’s my very own little money pit. Love my 7.3
I love my 7.3 IDI
Over the years I've really become a fan of clean OBS Ford's and yours is seriously cool! Can't wait to see some of the off road/camping content with it!
That is an awesome rig. Clean 7.3s bring top dollar too. I'm a little surprised that you can drive that thing in California.
It takes some effort but it’s fun nonetheless
Everything is bringing TOP dollar now
@StanceWorks I literally have the same truck minus the spare tire and rack. Nice job
I wish i could post a pic of the one i just picked up. It would make alot of people salivate
Yoy know what happens when you roll a semi truck with DEF delete through the scale house and get pulled in for Level I inspection??.......nothing...it's not their job...that's EPA stuff and you roll right out. Nothin like a clean OBS. Brings back a lot of memories. And as usual, Burroughs with great taste. Stoked for a follow up.
Glad you enjoyed it
Those tires and wheels are perfect. 😎
Admittedly, I never thought too much about those Ford trucks but you definitely have a way of making it interesting and cool.
I’ve been binging all of your videos to get to this day lol.
Me too, I want one! Even though I'm a chevy guy but this thing is just awesome, Ford or not lol.
Beautiful truck brother. These are my absolute favorite. Hands down the best trucks ever built.
Man the GFC in the bed of the truck really give you a sense of it’s scale; the GFC covered the entire roof of the FJ60
Definitely. This truck is HUGE!
I love they way they look
Life is not fair. What a beautiful truck you got. And me just fool of jealousy.
I have a dirtymax but I have always love these, always will
I'm a powerstroke guy i have a 99 7.3 and a 2020 6.7 powerstroke. The cateye LBZ duramax will always have a place in my heart
That’s a bad ass truck. Worth every penny to keep it going on the road. I have a 2002 Chevy 1500hd. Wouldn’t trade it for the world. I love hearing that! There's still plenty more to do on this old thing.
Gosh I want it so bad! These OBS Fords are amazing!!
Just saw your Video, Very Clean OBS Truck! 100% know the feeling on owning one of these 7.3's. I have a 95 that is very similar to yours. I had to do a double take when I saw this video come up! Top shelf content. Every. Single. Post.
I got a 97 and absolutely love the thing.
You just built my wife's dream truck! She currently drives a 1990 F250 Supercab 4x4 IDI 7.3 and she is looking at mid-90's F350's as I type this. Nice build!
Did you guys ever find a truck?
I dont know anything about diesels, but I do know ow that the 7.3 is one of the best diesels Ford or anyone has made.
That's my dream truck man. Fu*kin beautiful
Cleanest trok I’ve seen in a while
I love these trucks, had 3 of them.
I'm neither a Ford guy or a big truck guy but this is absolutely on point! Such a beaut. Love the work and detail you put into every project.
You've achieved sheer perfection!!! Well done!!!
Nice truck! That era of F-250/350 is my absolute favorite. I still like the '56 for a lighter duty truck.
My current rig is a Y2k F-250 super-cab, which I plan on never getting rid of unless I'm forced.
Been a sub for about 2 months now and you're crazy man, I fell in love with your craft. Keep it up dawg 👍
That's an awesome rig!
Excited for the annual camping trip photo post on SW, always one of my favorite posts of the year.
Looks sick! What a dream to take that rig out camping in the mountains. Looking forward to your vacation footage!
I wish that I wouldn’t have seen this. So cool.
Nice work...bought my first diesel truck last yr (2020 Colorado ZR2 off road pack) and use it as a daily and love it. Recently took it on trails which was addictive so def looking forward to some off road content.
define "off road"
@@paynefulmechanix9675 ok
Nice Job! I have the same exact truck, but in two-tone blue (139K miles). Your project will be my blueprint moving forward. Thanks!!
Absolutely awesome truck and a very nice build, I have a 95 f150 reg cab short box 4x4 that im going to part with so I can upgrade to one like yours, mines just not heavy enough and I want a truck camper, you have to love these older Fords, the nicest looking truck on the planet. Loving the truck! It goes nicely with the other projects!

Need to bring that thing to the NoBsOBS truck show in Albany OR in August!
Very..nice..truck.
I love your build....I have a beat on 97 f350 crew 4x4..gas 351..still going strong ,has served me well,...never lifted it because I work it, the bed height....but you built my dream overlander..almost...
Dream truck man! So so cool, hope you had a great trip!
Man that thing is beauty

The truck looks awesome! man

Love it. I have a 96 and 94 1/2 powerstroke. But the front is higher then the back on yours. You might need a bigger block back there
Daaang you got a DREAM TRUCK 💯🤘🏽

Appreciated!
Happy birthday. your truck is beautiful and very practical. Show off your mounts, Stancey. very good.

Beautiful man. Working on my build right now. I've just got a 97 crew cab short bed. Did you end up doing 2" or 4" lift? I was wanting to do 4" but I've heard people have trouble with the drive shaft length...
