Day 15 - Still no word about Dark Talions wraiths faceguard/crown coming back. I fear the worst as these updates keep coming out that it will never come back to us. Resources are running low. But I'll try to hold out for as long as I can until help arrives.

if you free an olog slave and let him kill you they seem to have a pretty high chance to turn into legendary captains... saw it in a video and then from 5 olog slaves I freed 2 turned into legendary ones

Yeah, I don't get buying a game just to have it easy to beat quickly. Honestly sounds like a forced hate that a few people jumped because they try to follow whatever they are told is popular at the time and fake accounts reinforcing it.
I have a hunch all of this started with a fake twitter account from either rival companies, butt hurt streamers who were not offered to advertise it or people who just flat our hate certain companies aka warner bros.
I don't care for warner bro but they made a fun game.
Staubfinger1806 Really I've let a good few slaves kill me just to hear the voice lines and I've never had even one legendary from it.
Luke Morton you can also find them. They spawn like other captains. Also, they aren’t unstoppable. They can lose to lower level and not even epic orcs.

Fedee, they would rather horse around photo mode and add more betrayals and dance around the issues like the dead orc wasting slots and say we lack the budget therefore excusing their lack of productivity lol considering the game sold well. Like politics heh.
Can olog gangs be removed from pit fights? Its boring to watch grunt ologs do near to no damage to the captain while the other captain stands around taking potshots.
Itd be nice, but every once in a while that sliver of damage can change the fight. Not often but sometimes
Olog gangs do no damage with their attacks though, and most of the time in my experience the captain with the olog gang wont attack if the ologs are gangbanging the other captain. He almost has no space to attack.
But yeah I would like to see them go as well, they attack too quickly and all of their attacks stun the other captain, basically stunlocking him for hours and its boring as fuck to watch. If you have a hunter gang though they will rape the ologs completely, or if your captain frequently throws bombs of any kind he will kill all the ologs quickly even when surrounded

My Epic Trickster has 6 immunities: He's literally immune to everything but poison which isn't a mortal weakness and he has thick skin & decoy clones, Savage Class. He would be a monster if he didn't flee when his health is half way gone... they seriously need to fix that with trickers. Forgot his tribe.
Mine is my som follower a poisonous archer assassin from the mystic tribe with Gang of elite savages immune to range and execution and all elements,enraged by everything and rapid shot oh and he's the legendary overlord of seregost that killed th last one
Lol, Ar-Gul the Breaker is back to haunt me again in this trailer as the Merciless, wtf lol. Short story in Nurnen: Ar-Gul the Suspicious came out of nowhere, killed me and broke my sword when I was about level 16"he now became Ar-Gul the Breaker" so I went back and kill him. Was doing a mission then Ar-Gul ambush me so I kill him second time. He came third but now has a iron cap on his head. Did was had to be done so I kill him third time then fourth time he ambush me but now with full iron on his face, only showing his left eye and half of his mouth showing. This time, I actually cut his head off so make sure he don't keep coming back to ambush me every time on my missions lol. Then when doing the final quest to kill Zog, guess what? He is back for the fifth time but as undead. Ar-Gul will never stop haunting me so now he appear in this trailer. I love this game lol.

Does anyone else think that archers and other ranged fighters are very weak?
we freakin did it bro!!!! Hunters are good. Archers with explosives are VERY deadly.
I have one really good crossbow orc, but haven't run into too many that I've liked. My primary nemesis from the first game, though, could shoot explosive crossbow bolts that could kill me in one or two hits.
I was speaking of ranged in the pitt fights.
It depends on the orc in my experience. Some of my best pit fighters are ranged...as are some of my worst. I have one inept orc archer with a pack of caragors. As long as the caragors are attacking the enemy captain my orc won't fire his crossbow, but most of the time the caragors do next to no damage and the fight ends in a draw.
Then I have another orc that fills his enemies with bolts faster than you can say "Rest in peace Az-laar".

It's been 5 years
i love fighting my orcs with other players, so far have won 3 and lost 5, but still fun to watch
i'm quite happy about this. tried it out earlier with a random feral slayer(non epic) i had as a warchief, put him as overlord and tossed him into the pits. 15 minutes later he was legendary and i had 7 loot chests of follower orders to go through, several of which contained epic traits and 1 legendary upgrade

Unless they are on defense, but if you attack then yes they can die.

If you initiate the online pit fight they die if they lose just as in online conquest. If someone battles your overlord through online pit fights while youre not playing they wont die in your game, again exactly like online conquest.
And yes they can cheat death if dying during online pit fights.
Only your overlords can fight during online pit fights, which is pretty stupid and a kind of a waste tbh because you have to constantly be switching your damn overlord which sometimes you cant do because the random missions that appear that make a specific captain unselectable

If anyones gold dlc still not working (ps4):
1: reinstall it by going 2 ur library and then pressing the arrow/download/install icon.
2: on the ps4 home screen, just go on shadow of war but go down when on it, and then click on view all when on the add ons list. Then it should say free on the dlc that should be out. E.g. SLAUGHTER TRIBE.

Hmmm, maybe I should switch Bruz out of his Warchief position and just make him a fight pit champion, he’s pretty powerful in my game, no weaknesses, level 60, legendary, and leads a gang of ologs, I’ll look in to this.
Whomever the twisted individual is that decided that all of the fight pit rewards would be battle training (1 level up), I am disappointed in you. I'm afraid if I get any more of them they will develop sapience and seize control of my PlayStation.

Am I the only one annoyed at how much easier the unlimited shadow wars writes are? They seemed to just stop bringing bodyguards and everything. The siege defenses were already kinda easy with the attackers having the same amount of guys - Talion.
Already won 2 fights if your overload not 60 epic/legendary and skilled don't do it.

my lvl 47 legendarie has no weaknesses except freeze pin and tons of strengths I highly doubt he'll lose to anyone his lvl or lower unless they have enraged by everything and great strength but thats unlikely so this'll be fun

Online fight pits, in their current state, are awful. Investing tons of time building up Legendary Overlords only to have them killed due to the piss poor orc AI is beyond frustrating. I've had orcs in regular pit fights that were 20-30+ levels higher than their opponent lose because of just standing around, taunting, and not attacking. Now having your very best orcs that you've invested time in to and possibly spent training orders on die permanently is horrible. Online pit fights are NOT a game of seeing who has the best uruk. This is a game of complete chance.
Ikr that's why I wont be using the online pit at all lol there's no way in hell I'll put any of my rare orcs at risk even if they are invisible plus I can get them to Legendary without using the online pit.
Zoro Solos to make matters worse, champion chests rewarded for a 5 fight winstreak still do not guarantee epic or legendary training orders. This lowers the incentive and discourages careful players even more.

Why would you ever use a legendary orc in these pits though? One of their main uses is to allow you to turn a really good common orc into an epic and then legendary one. If you use an orc that is already a legendary you just unlock random training orders...and that's pretty much it.
