I recommend trying this build without devour. Because of devour fully healing you, the fragment that starts health regeneration on a melee kill becomes redundant. So, since the main part of your ability kills will be from melee, you dont really need both devour and the fragment. You should try Helion instead, because having helion means you can slide towards someone with full health and the helion mortar + arc melee is enough to oneshot them

Devour is very good for grenade regeneration (every kill).
So I don't know if Helion is actually better, but it's defiantly not a bad option.

I use the exotic class item with ophidians and the extra melee charge. That allows me to run snap for snapskating and having a reliable melee
