Zomba beat him at Super Smash Con, though Marss was playing very poorly that set/after falling to losers
Yeah no he lost to zomba at smash con, I think the last win was at lost tech city
Same for Light I think
Marss did beat Light recently at their tournament in their region but Light also beat him a couple of times, they're straight up rivals, whereas Zomba and Marss only played twice or three times I think, not really representative yet@@owenloveridge279

Tweek winning against Tea in a game 5 was so sick to see, being one of Diddy's toughest matchups and Zomba beating Sonix and winning the tournament with the upmost confidence was great to see as well

Imagine how scary sonix would be if he didn't insist on using homing attack
Homing Attack is such a weirdly good move that it becomes a crutch.
To be fair if these homing attacks hit he would've been in great positions.
He wouldn’t be the best player in the world. He would be the only player in the world because there would be no reason to go to a tournament with him.

What happened to Onin, dude pulled an Esam and went from basically 3-0 everyone to not even top 8s
He's still playing but people learned the steve matchup, that's why acola is truly a good player, he survived the wave of "counter steve techs"
That’s what happens when you’re carried by your character instead of just being good at the game. He’s still far better than the average player, but he’s just not good enough to play against the Steve counters now that the meta has developed
People started taking learning counterplay seriously which is why players like Jake, Yonni, and Onin started falling off.
Was there a Corrin ditto in any major top 8 before now?
Marss needs to beat Zomba and be the hero we all need.
I’ve never been a fan of Corrin personally but a top-level ditto was kinda lit
Unfortunate that Sonix SD’d with Homing Attack so much.

Marss, you're my favorite player, but you *gotta* stagger those cringe ass cutaway subscribe begging clips, like just do it every other video or something man. It's too much and I don't think anyone sees them that doesn't just groan every time they see them at this point. It's RUclips. People know what subscribing is. That tactic is played out and way repetitive. Always great content. But I will speak for much of the community when I say those little cutaways put a bad taste in the vast majority of your audience's mouth. Love ya bud. You're still getting my thumbs up and everything. It is criticism, it's not fun to hear, but I really do feel like I'm trying to help. People are gonna sub because they like you and your content. Nobody's gonna feel good about hitting the button after you condescend to them in those clips. I know it's meant to be silly and cheeky and whatever, but it's a little much bro. There’s no way you give sonix of all people credit. His character is just as broken as anybody else you saw on screen
@@colbyclay5911it’s like hbox in melee, super good player but you never see any other sonics do as well as he does. He easily has the best mental of any player, he is boring to watch though ngl.

Marss I love you, you're my fav smash youtuber. But an honest critique, you gotta tell your video editor to stop cutting away from the match to zoom in on you. You'll be actively talking about the match and it will cut away and I can't watch what is happening. There is no better ad for your twitch (which I watch) than trying to watch your YT vids. It's frustrating to watch. Much love
