      I just got my brand new Black Mamba 28! It is light and crazy strong/fast. I love shooting it so far.

    The black mamba 28 may leave both of those Bows in the dust! I'm beyond happy with mine.

    Bowtech have less Speed but more forgiving brace hight, and is more tunable. With Mathews you need to pay other money for modules and spacers kit.

    Might as well save your money if you are interested in the CP28 and get a used Bowtech Invasion CPX... same ata and same FPS.....

    How come u slam the trigger on that release?

      If he is consistent that is what matters most. I am still fighting with doing it just one way cause an instructor said I had to have the bow surprise me even though I was very accurate and consistent.

      We don't have the on right now. SR350 Short video coming out today, SR350 LONG video coming out next week. REVOLT XL might be a few weeks due to holidays.

      The XL is the smoothest drawing bow at a 31.5” DL I have felt in 36 years of bowhunting. Nice to have some room on the back end for a change!

      @@PoeOutdoors it’s so slow though!

    • @PoeOutdoors
      @PoeOutdoors 2 года назад

      @@toddlymburner5783 What is slow? I own one and have spent some time testing speeds at 70# and 28, 31.5 and 33" draw lengths, will post a video on my channel soon. I started in 1986 with bows that shot 180 fps and we used 11 gpi arrows with 135-150 grain broadheads, so there are no "slow" modern bows to a guy like me. Physics and engineering limitations are real which means there will always be give and take. More speed means harsher draw cycle, a balance is nice. I want to be able to pull my bow after being on stand 4+ hours with temps in the low 20s just as I can with temps in the mid 70s. The XL will allow me to do that.

    Don’t forget about the top hat system for Mathew’s to be able to tune the cams

    • @iwilrage
      @iwilrage 2 года назад +4

      Seriously? Spend 50 bucks..get top hats, buy a press or pay for adjustment, disassemble bow, insert spacers...reassemble...check....if not good..disassemble buy other top hats reassemble check...also you must disassemble to change strings...oh and you can use any rest because the blocked that ability with the crappy cable guide that also prevents torque tuning......the bowtech...insert Allen wrench...turn...lock it..done...torque tune rest...slide forward back..done. mathews change draw, buy mods..change let off, buy mods, change weights, buy mods...bowtech change draw, loosen rotate done, change let off, flip disc done....bottom line if you tune, tinker, obsessed with working on stuff to get precision..get bowtech....if you want pay for one set it up, don't change anything and just shoot..mathews...remember every change or adjustment costs money and special equipment to adjust....thats mathews...both make fine bows..its all about what you are doing with it. But top hats are not good selling points.

      @@iwilrage just making a comment…no reason to get butt hurt

    • @DJ-xo9fc
      @DJ-xo9fc 2 года назад +1

      @@iwilrage the reason I did say that is in the video he states there isn’t a way to tune the cams on Mathew’s…was just making the comment. Never said it was easier or better. It’s interesting how when someone makes a comment about a bow brand how easily butt hurt people get whether it’s for or against the brand of bow they like. Archery is a preference sport…I prefer less screws on my cam system to eliminate stripped screws or something coming loose and shifting. All a preference. And most bow shops will swap top hats without charging for you.

    I find that shorter then 32 inch axle to axle makes a really uncomfortable shooting bow. It is not stable string angle is extreme and accuracy goes to hell. I am guessing that they have application but for me it is not comfortable and not accurate. People put front stabilizer back stabilizer expensive rest expensive site but the bow is unstable to beging with . It is a bit like putting a lipstick on a pig. From my experience I have a 30 inch and 32 with 30 inch I am ok up to 30 yards with 32 inch I am accurate at 50 yards and I use the same rest same sight. Unless you are planning to limit the shots to 30 yards max don't bother with short axle to axle. Also shot axle to axle is useless at 3D. Long draw shooters will suffer even more because it will become even more unstable. In my experience shooting bow with 32 or more axle to axle works best and I only have 28.5 draw. I am guessing for someone with 30 inch draw 33 or 34 axle to axle will make a nice stable comfortable shooting platform. We need to stop buying based on manufacturer advertising and really look at the bow as show if is not comfortable then it is wrong.
