I know a guy here in NZ with an Evo 2 RS, that ran a 10.9 second quarter mile with the standard engine and turbo. He modified the diffs, intake, exhaust, boost and removed most of the interior. I think he might have improved the fuel system somewhat as well to enable more boost. Like bigger fuel pump and injectors. The ECU would have needed re mapping a little as well.
He comes straight from Kenyan Safari Rally heritage and he comes in a car with some of the finest Rally DNA. God bless this fine upstanding Kenyan Gentleman and all he stands for. Good one. Really.
The way guy goes through the specifications of the car shows you he knows what a weapon it is and his face when Jamie is giving it the beans shows he knows how well built and capable the build is huge respect for the guy and the build ❤️

My old boss imported the first evo 4 into Britain, at the time it was a massive head turner, nobody had seen anything like it on UK roads, shortly after, the evo 5 officially launched in the UK and they were everywhere
10 years ago, I worked as an expat in the Philippines. Over there, they call this bodystyle the hot dog (Evo VI, is nick named the pizza pie - coz of the shape of the taillights) 😉 Kudos and a big 👍, this is one of the fastest and tastiest hot dogs I've ever seen 👌
