This podcast is so good! I’m taking a break from work to watch this and it’s inspiring me so much, as well as making me rethink my whole approach to my side hustle/future full time business and unlearn old habits. My mum always projects her past onto me when I talk about my aspirations and Austin nailed it when he said to seek advice from those already doing what you want to do. Just HAD to clip it and share 😊

It’s rare for someone who became successful to actually share exactly how they got there. Been following Austin’s work but awesome to learn his backstory and get legit advice.

Great point about how people will often project their limiting beliefs onto us. As long as our motivation is intrinsic, we can have longevity as creators! 💪

What’s even more disheartening is that some kids receive this type of discouragement very early in life. Such an important discussion. 👏🏼👏🏼

Dang this was an incredible conversation gentlemen! Especially the part about Austin's English teacher giving him a D and telling him not to pursue writing, then fast forward he was able to work through any external blockers and limiting beliefs projected onto him from others. And how some friends in your own circle see your success and may even try to sabotage you without consciously being aware of it. Reminded me of stuff I'm currently working through, struggles of me own. I really appreciate that deep layer of conversation. Thank you guys!

When I was at school, the options were Hairdresser or Airline Hostess, (if you were extra ambitious). “Home Duties” was what a lot of women “chose”.

One note... The episode URL in the description has a typo.

Hey Jay, why don't you publish a book like Tim Ferris' "Tools of Titans" and call it "Tools of Pro Creators"?
I’m watching all your RUclips videos and taking notes. And once I’m done with that I will definitely become a Member and watch all your other videos. But even then, I would still buy such a book if it distillates all important information from your interviews so far.
Keep up the great work. You’re inspiring to me.
