Well done , breath of fresh air . I agree on most of your choices. However just slight differences. Lidstrom , Demidov, Senecki, Ignla. In that order. Three players i totally dont see being a match gor habs are Catten ,too small. We need size with skill. And the two defence men . Totally not the rright types for habs . Only defencemen i ld look at if top five forwards are gone is Siliab just due to size and style he would bring. I know.i spelled his name wrong. However i think its a total fail for habs if we dont come out with Lidstrom or Demidov ,or Senecke or Iginla.

This is tough, this year the NHL finals are being played like "rugby on ice". i think Iggy would excel at this style of play. but if Demidov, Lindstrom or Sennecke are available you have to take one of them first.

sennecke is apperently 6'4 now, you mentioned everyones height but his, I hope this is who they pick, I think his IQ is second highest in the draft, hes making his moves in his head before his body moves, once this catches up he gonna be a real one

Montreal scouts have seen Sennecke several times since he is playing in the OHL which is just a car ride from Montreal. If they don't draft him, it is because they believe someone else is better than him.

That is my choice as well. a lot of upside which is what this management seems to be looking at.

His mudder is 5.11 his father is 6
3 .... he is at 6.4 today and might hit 6.6 By the time he hits 21

I’d love the Habs to move their 26th up to above 15 and hope for Senneke. I’ve said it would be cheaper than going for Zegras or Necas.

I feel you but Sennecke won't be there at 15 (were maybe looking at him at 5 sooo)

Iginla above all others. He's the youngest player and will grow a lot in skill, talent, and power!

I think there is a possibility that if Demidov falls to 5th Montreal trades down in the draft. Not because of the player but the timeline. Hughes has been trading picks for prospects and also drafting big guys or nhl ready players. I could see them trading down and drafting Tig or Sennecke or Lindstrom if he's still there. Hughes gets size and a player that can play next season plus an additional draft pick or prospect by trading down. I think there is a serious chance they do this.

I want Sennecke, he is the smartest player and 6'4". He doesn't have back problems and in the long run he will be a better player than Lindstrom who is a North South player like Josh Anderson. I want real talent: Sennecke or Catton. I'm an old guy from Quebec. Many years ago the Nordiques drafted a young player that looks a lot like Catton.. hi name was Joe Sakic. Same style, same height, both are centers, both are super smart play makers and amazing goal scorers.

Personally, I don't cate who they pick, sort of, having said that, I may be a little disappointed if they took a D-Man but I would trust they know more than me, so I could live with it. The only thing I actually dread is a repeat of last year, If Demidov were somehow available at 5 and they passed on him.

Different story. Montreal have an high interest on Demidov and if he's available they probably will pick him.

I would trade to pick seneka if he is available in top 10...he is gonna be remembered from this draft😮

if demidov falls to 5 it's him. it will be senneke or iginla imo. Lindstrom has a lot of questions. My sleeper move is trading guhle for a top 6 power forward similar age and drafting a dman

    • @vdac1068

Not Ghule, he fits with the age group, trade Matheson while his stock is high. Ghule is better defensively and offensively he’s limited having to be the defensive player when paired with Matheson.
I’d rather see Ghule / Mailloux / Hutson on the PP than Matheson

If we could get 10th for Mathewson and a goalie add in a pick after our 26th then we maybe able to come out with 2 power forwards. Or 1 and Demidov. And then take Surin at 26th

I don’t think they are looking for a 4-5 year project at #5. Outside of Celebrini, who is the most NHL-ready player? That’s who I think they are picking.

  • @gonzo8450
    @gonzo8450 6 месяцев назад

My gut is they try to pick demidov by trading or hoping he land free to them. Then Lidstrom and then Dickinson and make a trade shipping Guhle/Matheson for a first liner wonger.

I thought this was a serious podcast lol but they ommit to say that Chicago is the team that showed the most interest to Levshunov and Levshunov has even said that they are the team that showed the MOST interest in him.

We had the Blackhawks drafting him in our mock draft two weeks ago. You should check it out! We go into lengths about the fit and how Chicago has been following Levshunov closely all year.
