I was one of my unit's RTOs in 07 in Iraq and I always thought that talking to the Apache pilots as they flew through our battlespace was one of the coolest things ever. They were all Viper something, and each number after their callsign of Viper denoted sort of their rank/position within the CAB (combat aviation brigade).
