I have a decently sized map imported from Google Maps into my Unreal Engine 5.4 project that requires cleanup. There are several bad and blobby floating textures across the map, such as street poles and vehicles, that need to be erased. Additionally, I need new streets added to cover the original ones. I am willing to pay $50 for quality work completed in a timely manner.
hey question.. is there a way i can edit the tiles from google using cesium on UE5 . i have a low poly game im making and need help clearing the cars and big blocky structures off the roads. please get back to me !
Thans for watching and asking your question. I would recommend to download the area you want to edit. In blender you can change/edit the mesh. In Cesium ion you can upload your own data (up to 5GB is free). You can use these new 3D tiles in your game.
I followed the instructions provided by google but I get the error "A valid directory for data in the addon preferences isn't set" in Blender. This was after adding the recommending string on the google credentials documentation but I don't know what I'm missing.
YOU JUST SAVED ME THANK YOU SO MUCH
You’re welcome

You have to set the path in Blosm addon page just above where you input the API key.
