stephen rehberger ive been wondering the same through the whole 1st season. Too many close up filming and audio. All fights seem fake like in the 80s movies. And even if the show was real, the experience is just 10% of what it would have been if the inmates didnt knew it was to go on tv
I worked for Kentucky’s psychiatric hospital within the prison system and when someone is having a mental break it really can pop off in an instant like that. And instead of getting these people help we send them right back into the world to end up and do this all over again only their charges get worse and worse until they catch life for killing someone. We’re a failed system.

stephen rehberger ive been wondering the same through the whole 1st season. Too many close up filming and audio. All fights seem fake like in the 80s movies.
And even if the show was real, the experience is just 10% of what it would have been if the inmates didnt knew it was to go on tv

I worked for Kentucky’s psychiatric hospital within the prison system and when someone is having a mental break it really can pop off in an instant like that. And instead of getting these people help we send them right back into the world to end up and do this all over again only their charges get worse and worse until they catch life for killing someone. We’re a failed system.
