This is one of the most punk fucking performances I've ever seen. He's just walking around mouthing off into the mic like he isn't even singing a rehearsed song. I fucking love it.
I love this shit. Stripped down, no pretensions, no nonsense. Here's the song. Here's the music. You can deal with that or go away. Just fuckin' awesome
i stopped listening to punk music a long time ago...but sometimes i hear something like this and get rememered what i loved about this music so much...:)
I'm only in my teens and I hope to be a fan until the day I die. Its a shame that Bad Religion is getting old and they might be in their last years. Makes me wish I was born earlier, then I could have seen more Bad Religion shows.
@TAMYCRON That's Bobby Schayer. He was their drummer from 1991(Generator) to 2001(New America), but left due to a shoulder injury. Was replaced by Brooks Wackerman(their current drummer)
Modern smart poetry embraces the rebel tunes of punk - one the best punk bands ever - smart and agressive the type of shit our brainwashed society dont like but smart people love ... I live this band gives hope
@AtheistLurker I realized its a bit of an old comment, but if its the guy to graffins left with the red guitar whos jumping around alot, thats Greg Hetson. If its the guy to the left in the video with the long hair and the black bass(he has a microphone), thats Jay Bentley. Guy to the very left of the video whos playing next to the bassist, thats Brian Baker, and the drummer is Bobby Schayer(left in 2001 due to a shoulder injury)
That was the year I first saw them, first concert I ever went to, Freeborn Hall at UC Davis. I happened to have the radio on the one time that they ever played a BR tune, and this was it, I've been hooked ever since then. Even the lyrics on "Fuck Armageddon This is Hell" would make you think. Haven't heard BR on the radio since, oh well fuck 'em (the radio people), probably only played this since the Offspring were big at the time and were still on Epitaph
"People are to dumb to fathom that which is why we need leaders. " This is exactly the point I was coming to. In Utopia, leaders would not have been necessary. The idea of a state governed by none, however, is an elitist thought that requires every participant in the system to be smart and agree with eachother. That won't ever happen! Some people are evil and others are just dumb. We need leaders to keep things under a certain amount of control.
Don't get me started on Brooks! That guy is a beast! He makes all the classics sound 1,000x better! I FREAKIN' LOVE THAT GUY! He's all quiet and humble during interviews. Bobby isn't nearly as exciting but I give him credit for being with BR for quite a while.
Greg Graffin is my fave singer, and Brian Baker my idol guitarrist.... :) Along with Tim Armstrong from Rancid and Tom Delonge from AVA/Blink/BCR. Punk rock is the only music I really identify with... So cerebral, about the human condition, an evolution as a species... Bad Religion is probably the best punk band out there. Along with the Adicts, Ramones, Clash, Black Flag, Sex pistols, Offspring, Dag Nasty and the Exploited.
Yes, if we are to discuss the very essence of humans and survival, leaders are overrated. But, come on...This is the 21st century. It's a world of technology, economy, politics, and a huge system to keep it all together. The system needs leaders. Unless you want to move out into the wild and live as a bushman.
Nice to see a punk ? / hardcore band paying homage to a Prog rock band for a change i.e. King Crimson's "21st Century Schizoid Man".The metal influence on hardcore is usually recognised but not so much the Prog end.Perhaps curtain bands are starting to be a little more honest about it at time goes by.Progressive post-hardcore is generally recognised as a genuine crossover sub-genre even.
@Zeroprobabilityvids what about aus rotten, 7 seconds, choking victim etc. you just named popular punk bands, sure theyre good but there's so much more than just british 70s and 80s punk.
Francisco Amarillo Word. This entire video, he looks so clumsily pissed off, even though he isn't singing a particularly angry song. Hell, he looks pissed off that he was born a human being. LOL
Damn, they rock! I miss Bobby Schayer on the skins, though. He's tons more skillful than any other drummer they've had. Wack's got the high energy, but no technique.
@2Bforsaken games are just somthing for entertainment, trust me im a kid but i know that theres more to life than playign a relay shitty overrated shooter witha bunch of 10 year olds that dont understand the term of "shut up" the real problem with kids these days are that they arnt distracted by these gadgets and more wiht their getting too much convinience form their parents therefore their just being lazy and fucking up their lives, it lso doesnt help mainstream music is awful
"I don't know how to-" "FUCK!" "-but I got a lot of toys" Is probably the greatest improve change I have ever heard in a Bad Religion song.
This is one of the most punk fucking performances I've ever seen. He's just walking around mouthing off into the mic like he isn't even singing a rehearsed song. I fucking love it.
His mannerisms on stage are only second to his amazing vocals. They are so awesome!
tengo la bendita sensación de haber comprendido lo que escuchaba a los 16...
15 años me llevó esta materia...
Ahora debes tener unos 40, espero estés bien, un saludo 10 años en el futuro
I saw Bad Religion at the Warped Tour today. Best day of my life by far. They put on the greatest punk rock show I have ever seen or ever will see.
was it still the best show???
I like the voice of the singer :)
I love this shit. Stripped down, no pretensions, no nonsense. Here's the song. Here's the music. You can deal with that or go away. Just fuckin' awesome

I've never been much of a fan of these guys but really like this song a lot. Because I get the sarcasm in it and the chorus is pretty catchy.

@Zeroprobabilityvids what about aus rotten, 7 seconds, choking victim etc. you just named popular punk bands, sure theyre good but there's so much more than just british 70s and 80s punk.
@raonipaes Yeah he has a habit of yelling that. Apparently it pisses Greg off.

Crimson lyrics at 2:17
You can actually hear it when he goes slightly out of tune, so I doubt it's a lip-sync.
