Reese, I remember your grandfather (Maurice) saying back in1976-77-78 or so when the maxi-merge planter came out that “one day they will have a camera on the planter checking the color of the soil and adjusting the planter population according to light and darker soil”!!

I’ve been watching our farmers for years(I don’t farm, but we garden a lot) I’ve learned so much that’s actually helped us yield more food, planting depths & soil nutrient needs. Farmers need to have so many skills that ppl don’t realize too. Shop skills, chemical, electric & the technology is amazing(when it works!!)

We have a zebra and hog dog. We haven’t need any service but you can order parts off the website
@ReeseIvers I watch farmers from all over the country. One thing I’ve noticed was the seed tube/sensors bend & break. TripleRFarms are replacing the broken ones with cheap ones bc it was getting too expensive to keep replacing. The one he showed you that tests moistures had a metal spine. Wonder if they added that to keep the tubes from breaking? Or was that added just for the moisture testing?
More for moisture and residue testing. I haven’t had that problem. I wonder if he’s using enough seed lube
@@iversfarms yep, he is. They’re in Alabama & have red clay looking soil. Idk if it’s from hard ground &/or rocks. He just went over it a video or so ago. Showed the problem but didn’t say how it keeps happening. TripleRFarms, trying to remember if Field Rows had the same prob(I watch a lot of farmers) I know Zach Johnson had a ton of problems with the sensors too, that was a couple years ago. He was trying to have it set up to plant, fertilize & pull anhydrous. 2 years of trying & that was enough. He said his new planter fixed the problem. Prob upgrades in the product
Great video, thank you! Please remember that E-Bikes can catch on fire all by themselves ! I would hate to have one of them on fire in your work shop or your machine sheds. I am sure you-all know about this or considered this. Maybe charge them or keep them in a little remote shed? Insurance companies are getting fussy about these kind of fires. Even if Insurance does pay it is the lost time that you can never recover, especially if you loose a season. Please make sure that the battery is UL approved or don't use it. Some people call these batteries "Chinese time bombs". Fires are the worst. I would hate to see something like this happen. Please stay safe and many God Bless.
