I wonder if this "apartment" was the former home of the actress, Olivia De Haviland who died in 2020 - I believe it was 2020. It is a gorgeous apartment - all the rooms are to die for - all the big windows and the views are what drew me to viewing the whole video. I hope it goes to someone who will really appreciate the beauty of this apartment and not let it sit vacant as a tax write-off. You know I'm available to house sit for you if you'd like, lol.

I lived on Rue de Chazelle in 94-95 right across the street from Parc Monceau. What a glorious neighborhood.
Yeah but on a sunny weekend that park gets more crowded than a Chatelet metro station and that is saying something. Everyone sits packed next to each other and there are huge fish swimming in a dirty pond that look like they could eat you alive if you fell in the pond.

Beautiful location. A bit ornate for my taste. Old world charm, it is nice to visit europe w all parks and open spaces still. In america they tar and build over as much as they can. It is always a fight to leave a bldg or home from 18th or 19th century standing when some developer wants land

The rooms are absolutely stunning and the essence of Baroque good taste, but the main staircase hall and the one shown bathroom, are too much. I wouldn’t be able to tear the main hall down tho, as it obviously has historical value. Who ever buys it next will hopefully just live with it, and not destroy it. I don’t know what the laws around heritage conservation are in France. That bathroom on the other hand is just ugly modern kitsch, so that would go in a second. The views are stunning. To think that there are people who live like this (in heaven practically) in a world where so many share the hell of not even being able to afford a one bedroom rental tho.

The decoration and some of the frescoes have to go. At least it faces a park. This type of decoration does not impress me what so ever

The decor is really ugly and vulgar. Someone is trying too hard to demonstrate he is very rich and powerful. It looks like a scenario for a Bollywood movie with indian maffia.
