He is a favorite for a lot of people including well known youtubers like Gothix, artofkickz, Crypt and many others {watch the reactions on his songs, and watch the rap battle where he kills MacLethal}. Music is subjective, your opinion of where he ranks, is your opinion, and means nothing to those who like him, or to Tom himself.

Seriously I hate rap music except for maybe a little bit of the old school stuff you know like King Tim or Will Smith. We're going way back to the beginning now LOL. But I can listen to Tom's music. For starters it doesn't have that obnoxious beat that most rap songs have and I can hear his lyrics he's not mumbling through his song He's not speaking so fast you don't understand. And his songs have meaning they have something to say it's not just about killing cops taking drugs or screwing women.

Rap CAN be good. Sadly, most rappers today think that repeating a word is as good as rhyming, repeating a chorus is all you need for lyrics, and any non-synthetic beat/instrumentation is completely unnecessary. Between that and the fact that the seemingly obligatory themes such as “f- a hoe”, “kill a n-“ and “I’m rich, look at me!”, it does indeed make the entire genre appear to be a total wasteland of crap.
