I put Bilstein leveling struts on my 2015 supercrew F150 and set them at the full 2.1” of lift. I’m super happy with the look and the performance of these lift struts and look forward to putting a set of their rear shocks on also. 👍🏻🍻

Yeah, I went with the 6112 front and 5160 rear on my 2020 Ford Ranger with a 3 inch lift in the front and 1 inch in the back...... way better suspension then stock, the ride on and off road is a lot better, can't wait for the 8100 though

WJ Jeep 2.5” lift. DD and some off road for rifle shooting range access. Also have them on my Fox body Mustang which is auto cross/ DD.
FWIW, the Germans pronounce their company’s name like this: Bill-ssh-Tyne. My last visit to Stuttgart my host engineer laughed when I pronounced it the typical American way.

I had RadFlo build me reservoir shocks for my Ram dually that can handle towing 30,000 lbs man what a amazing difference in my ride all around loaded and unloaded. I run Bilsstein on my Jeep I haven't blown them out yet like I did with Fox shocks.

Speaking solely about the 2021 Bronco..
Do you think the Sasquatch Bilsteins can be direct a replacement for the Hitachi that is found on all other models? Besides installation, there is no wiring electronic components or other things BESIDES bump stops that I would need?

Could you guys at Trail Built give Rancho some love?

Nicely done :) You can also assume some of the kinetic energy is temporarily converted to potential energy when the shock fluid is in a state of compression (just like compressing a spring).

@@GreghouseVanBouten if you work out the math, for all practical applications fluids are not compressible. That is why hydraulic systems work. And the original statement about compressing oil in a shock is patently wrong.

I'm a newb. What's something about Fox you like over Bilstein? e.g. better performance at high speeds, better warranty, more robust and less likely to break, etc... Thanks!

@@GreghouseVanBoutennow all they are doing is saying that everyone would pick there shocks over a competitors the shocks like the 5100 is similar to fox 2.0 you shouldn't put a fox 3.0 bypass or the 8100 to a regular shock not a fare review then you have bypass shocks that allows tuning for each corner so on find something that works for you and your rig start on the cheaper side then as it breaks wears out upgrade till you are happy with the performance unless you have a lot of money to throw at your build shocks go from about $100 to 3k plus per shock yes there are cheaper but to get a better performance shock that's where I would start I have a 2.5" lift on my jeep and the lift came with fox 2.5 with jeep specs so it's not really a fox shock it's a jeep spec shock hopefully this helps you out

Bought 5160 for 2017 f250 platinum and they suck. Don't buy bilstein. Too much rebound/bucking. For the price they are not worth it. Even the fox 2.0 were better . Now I have to try and sell these bilstein and see if I can even get half the money back.

no king coils are & always have been the best prob is they cannot figure out how to ramp up production for the niche off road community let alone & produce on a scale large enough to make it into a production vehicle just imagine if they made moves like fox back in 2014
