Congratulations SpaceX on yet another static fire where the booster stayed attached to the test stand
🤣
😂😂
to be fair it was somewhere between 40 and 60% throttle, if it were at 100% nothing could have stopped it from lifting off
Can't take these things for granted anymore it seems... lol
For those who do not know. It's a joke on the Chinese company copying falcon 9 but their static fire left the stand. Still funny to watch btw 😂.
Such a beautiful monster.
wait until you see what's in my pants
I am so happy about how all of this is becoming more and more mundane and casual and - dare I say - boring - it is a vital sign of progress in the grand vision
I dunno about you, but I'm nowhere near being bored.
Nothing boring about 20 million pounds of thrust... But yeah, I agree. Amazing advancements happening in front of us.
@@banzaiib ABSOLUTELY nothing boring - but you get my point about mundaneness - that a word? - which is super welcome atmosphere
i understand what you mean by boring ive sadly seen that happen with falcon 9 and heavy, i hope it never happens to starship
@@mikakettunen7939 "Routine" I think is more appropriate.
I can’t wait for this next flight, it’s gonna be amazing!
Crazy to think that if all goes right, we might (emphasis on might) see this booster static fire again after IFT5!
Insane power, insane visuals.
and this is between 40 and 60% throttle

This promises to completely revolutionise space flight, and space exploration. I’m 60, so I should witness some of the huge steps we will make.
I saw the US space program from the first exploding rockets, Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and this is awesome. I resented the poor coverage of the Soviet space program at the time. Stupid secrecy.
I'm 66 and saw Armstrong step on the moon standing on a sidewalk watching a 15" B&W TGV through a store window. I've been waiting for Mars since!
@@jcdisci That would have been quite an experience. One of my first memories is of being in the sitting room of friends of my parents at christmas, with the TV on showing astronauts in space. I believe that was the Apollo 8 round the moon trip.
I'm only 50, so I'm at that sad age where I've lived over a half century during which no humans have ever voyaged any farther from our home than low earth orbit. After all the promise my parents witnessed (and I just missed out on) I'm really hoping to be around long enough to see humanity finally once again embark on a journey beyond our cradle.
@@DavJumps I'm honestly planning on going to Mars, myself! I'm from a little town in NE Kansas. I've been to Paris, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, East Germany, Berlin, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, seen Napoleon's tomb, been in and under the Cathedral of Notre Dame, spent hours roaming the Louvre. I served at NATO HQ during the Iranian Hostage Crisis in 1979. Seems like Mars would be the cherry on top of my life. Wish me luck!
insane, can't wait for ift5
Thank you for synchronizing the sound. Good job!
The sound from the distant views is really awesome👍🏼💪🏼
The sound is awesome, but aligning video and audio _tracks_ is inauthentic. I want to feel like I'm standing there, complete with delay.
The tests are fantastic! The effects...wow! But this is how you successfully reach space!! Congratulations guys, keep going! 😍🗽💥👏👏👏
Nephilem orbit is not space.
It's space enough @gregorybyrne2453
Wow...never ceases to amaze. Incredible angles and frames. Thank u
I did so well! Nice!
Big Badda Boom
Awesome Booster12 static fire replay's NSF!!!! Thank you!
Brilliant work, can't wait for the launch of number 5.😊
Already ready for the next flight! Real impressive for such a large object!
Thinking back to how nervous and excited I was to see even a 1 engine SF let alone a “full” 3 engine SF before the higher altitude SN belly-flop tests it’s amazing to see a 33 engine SF becoming almost routine (one go and it’s done). I suppose we don’t have confirmation that this was a completely successful test yet but it certainly looked good to me. This all seems to be heading in the right direction.
We now have confirmation. Full 33
I believe they only do 33 since B9
Every time impressive to see this power!
Well i guess SpaceX has better clamps than the Chinese..lol great channel guys. Thank you.
But the Chinese are are doing better than the flawed Space Shuttle program, and the soon to be retired ISS
Beautiful work! Love all the different angles!
That base plate is STRONG 💪🏻
Not made in China, made in the USA.
@@flownspacestuff4me
All while, China owns america
@@ronaldckrausejr7762no it doesnt.
Full duration…. Lovely
This never gets old! Thank you NSF.
Wow, a fast turn-around from the live stream, thanks NSF team.
Hard for me to wrap my head around the engineering that goes into constructing that beast
It is pretty straightforward engineering. It just has more zeroes in the calculations than previous rockets.
It totally shivered me timbers!
So nice without the vertical tanks! Big views! Great job Jack and team!
Yeah, but that water deluge makes it impossible to see the engine ignitions. I always enjoyed the post test analysis of how many engines actually lit.
Can’t wait for this beast to come back!!
I'm very grateful that Space X are moving at the pace they are as my declining health means I relatively wont be here much longer. I expect if the IFT5 booster catch comes off we will be seeing routine booster catches in three or four years, or sooner. It's gonna be amazing.
oh shock waves... that must be hard for the launch infrastructure
God, that's beautiful.
There is no God.
@@themanwnoname3454he never said there was
Very cool, love the sound!
This static fire seemed alot cooler tan all before in my opinion
It’s because of the sound
@@TJ-W I didn't think it was because the sound
I miss the Starship honk we used to have
Best coverage from NSF, always. Thanks all!
It managed to stay on the pad. Which is one up on some other rockets.
Loved it. Can’t get enough of it. Thank you.
Gives me goose pimples every time I hear the engines start up.
Awesome 👏
Amazing views guys, thanks for keep on doing this for the community.
big up for the stand!!! 20 million pounds pulling against it and not a peep.amazing.
WoW!! Great job you guys!
What a beast!
amazing how much strength the pads have to restrain the roar and fury of the booster at full toot.
Great SpaceX and NSF your're great good luck ❤
Hard to believe that the view from South Padre Island is 5 miles away. The tower, cranes and High Bays are so hugh. I have got to see it in person, before I die! Step 1: I got to get a passport.
INCREDIBLE! Great footage NSF Team!
Some real ASMR right there lol
Very cool vids! Thank you for these guys!! 😊
AWESOME!! SOOOOOOO....SPECTACULAR EVERYTIME!! WE ALL LOVE EVERY SECOND TO VIEW ROCKETS & THEIR POWERFUL SOUNDS!! THRILLS OUR SOULS!! THANK YOU MIRACLE WORKERS/SPACE X!! BRAVO!! PRAYING FOR THE MIRACLES OF SUCCESS IN THE NEXT STEPS & FUTURE!! 👍 🚀 🚀 ❤️❤🙏🙏🇺🇸✝️🇺🇸✝️🚀
You’ve come a long way baby 👍🏻🤩🇺🇸
Never gets old...
i noticed no "honking "after the engines shut down!! change in shutdown procedure, water suppression , fix in engines??????
Too many Raptors to hear the honking. On the ships it is more clear.
Nice, thank you for sharing GOD bless
Great video
That's now looking like the real deal. Kudo's SpaceX!
It would be interesting to compare the actual sound levels at South Padre Island to those predicted at the original FAA submission.
Looks ready enough, I hope it launches before the end of the month but even if it's next month it won't be any less impressive to watch.
Imagine seeing that thing falling from the sky, caught by 2 giant chopsticks 🚀🥢🤯
Hey look! It stayed atcched to the OLM!
It's almost scary. Great images.
BOOM
Totally beautiful
WOW
Time to get the catch on!
AS you can see China, this is how you test a booster without it leaving the pad.
😂😂😂😂😂
I think it would be worth plotting the plume footprint 0n an aerial view of the existing tower and then project that footprint on to the new tower! Cheers and thanks for the vids
Love it
Can you put a seismometer at your site? Would be cool to see the reading.
Love that idea, So much info Scott Manly would intemperate for us from it.
Hoping to get ALL these views when IFT 5 Booster catch
CONGRATULATIONS 🍾🎉🎊
NSF: "Sound on"
The sound: "BVVVVVVVVV"
It's just about go time!
Thanks guys!
Awesome!!!
At 0:99-1:00 when the shockwave arrives at the camera you can see the crane cables on the left vibrate like guitar strings.
Hey China ! THIS is a static fire ! Lmao!!
3..2..1, ignition… Boooooom! Damnbastic 👌👌👌
Absolutely awesome views!
Great fotage!
Very cool!
The most powerful pressure washer on the planet - goddammitt...lol..
Damn! I’m impressed.🚀
This really gets my limbic system going.
Texas has been getting some rain look at the green landscape!😁
At least it didn't come off the stand!
congratulions
New bird sighting: Featherless Seagull.
that's the good stuff
Wicked!
I'm surprised they tested it so many times... :)
RUN BIRDIES RRRUUUUUNNNNNN

At a distance please don't sync the audio to the video. I enjoy the natural delay 😁
~8-10 seconds.
Countdown to IFT-5
Hope this will be the one 🎉
Cool
Woah, long duration.
That thing is terrifying
