Happy New year buddy! I see you wasted no time filming your first 2023 video. 2023. Can't believe it's almost a quarter century into the 21st century. Seems like 1969 was just a few days ago.🇻🇳☮️
My family and I just moved to Danang a month ago. Got a 6 month stamp, an ebike, and now we're just waiting for the sunny weather. Great channel. Love the content.
Love these types of market, would rather be on foot though. Most people probably go there everyday for their groceries and build relationships with the vendors. Brocolli florets are $2.99 a pound or $6 usd a kilo in Calfiornia right now
Hi I arrive saturday and enjoy your films.Love the freshness of Vietnam markets, and am trying to learn a bit of Vietnamese [ hard } i just need to find an apartment for a month now,Any advice would be appreciated thanks
Hi Paul, what city are you heading to? The rental market is slightly tricky at the moment. My tips would be view somewhere as much as you can and always negotiate in local currency. It's always a bit of a lottery here with places but hopefully you'll find something decent.
@@expatnam hi Nam we will be in Da Nang and yes it looks a bit tricky . we are staying at Merry land hotel for a couple of nights from the 7th,which gives us a chance to look at a few places . we have a month, then Hanoi for a month then back to Da nang for a month . would love to meet for coffee and a chat if possible . paul
These veggies are so fresh and affordable and so conveniently available right next to your feet bringing the true meaning to Stop-n-Go shopping experience. So expensive and hard to find them in the States. Your Vietnamese is very good. The fish vendor says 15K VND but that is for 100gr that you clarify as 150K per kilo. Thanks.
I know the feeling of being a tall foreigner in Vietnam market...I'm 6 foot 6 and when I was casually walking in the local D7 market in Saigon everyone was looking at me , especially the ladies 😂
Would you enjoy food shopping at this market? 🙃
Nope!
Love to hear your Vietnamese accent. It's cute and quite clear.
Thank you! 😃
Great video sounds motor bike
Happy New year

Thanks Tim. Hope you're enjoying Da Nang, maybe see you around.
Nice market 😍 love your videos ❤️❤️❤️
This will be a fun experience. What is the name of this market? You do love garlic. Haha Thanks for sharing.
This is Cho Bac My An. The garlic here seems to be very mild, maybe i'm using the wrong one lol.
@@expatnam cool. That was one of the markets on my list. It's the closest one to my place. About 10 min walk.
Bonne année ! Happy new year !

There's quite a few like this up here, they get super busy everyday. Great prices as well, a bit cheaper than the bigger cities.

The markets here do seem good. Quite a bit cheaper than the supermarkets, whereas in the south they were similar in price.

you speak Vietnamese well.
Thanks, trying....
Really I'm interested in your e bike. What model is it?
It's a GT hybrid bike with an ebike kit i fitted myself.
I was wonding if you could get a weed or any other safe substains in vitamin
It's definitely not the same situation as in Thailand but you can certainly smell it if you go to a bar here!
What’s the market called?
Cho My An
I am so impressed by the way you adapt yourself to circumstances.
Thanks-it's not easy but it's a journey!
