This might be the best car review video I’ve ever watched on RUclips. It was straight to the point and showed everything I needed to know without spending half the video pointlessly roasting a budget compact for lacking a powerful, sporty engine. (Why is that such a popular approach? If I wanted an aggressive performance car, I would not be looking at a Forte.) Anyway, I wish I could find more videos like this that show clear, well-lit views and keep the information interesting without loading it up with cringey graphics and long rants about the creator’s favorite sandwich. Thanks.

Just got this car a few days ago and am absolutely falling in love with it. A bit on the slow side but the ride is very smooth and the handling is good. The mileage is definitely better then the rating they give, I’ve consistently gotten 45+ mpg on highways. The infotainment is intuitive and useful and the interior is very nice.
Just bought this car!! Went in for the GT Line but the price difference was crazy, just to have a push start and a sun roof basically. The car is killerrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It rides SO smooth, the gas is AMAZING, it is very nice for what I paid and I am obsessed. Kia is stepping it up!

I havent seen hyundai or kia went 500k miles. I own a hyundai, however toyota and honda always has the edge in reliability and longevity, worth every penny

I got this because my 2010 kia was a great car. In the 9 years we had it, all we had to do was replace the alternator (not including basic maintenance, like breaks/rotors). We only ended up with another car because someone ran a stop sign and I got totaled out. The dodge we have now has been a nightmare since September, so we're getting another forte, lol.

I bought this car now 2 years ago and may never buy another brand. The car is a tiny bit heavier than normal day to day cars but the above average transmission along with an average HP makes this car very smooth. Really love the small details they think about in these cars. My only recommendation on these cars is to stay ON TOP of regular maintenance. I find Kia to be very similar to Jeep in the sense of how good you keep up with regular maintenance, is what you’ll get out of the car. Currently 30,000 miles in and have loved every one of them! much recommended
I sold my KIA Forte 5 2011 and today bought a 2023 Kia Forte LXS . I love it! Feels heavy and solid. Love the navigation system (AppleC), and the size of the monitor. Anything bigger than 8" IMO would be too big. I think I got good deal. 15,000 miles and paid $19,997 cash. I don't think you can go wrong with a KIA.
I think your wheel base is about the same as this Kia. It's good to know someone 6'5 can actually get in and have enough room. At least for ( short) trips.
6:35 was recently the unfortunate victim of this. I have a gray forte, it's brand spanking new, and theres still new car smell. I drove over to a friend's house and went home in a tow truck. Fortunately, it was 2023 and she put up a fight and the thieves left empty-handed. Gonna get it fixed this week. I sure miss my little forte which I have lovingly named Dave
Just bought a 2023 Lia Forte LXS. The "minimal" Safety Features are not a deal breaker. Turned everything off that I could. I absolutely loathe a vehicle trying to tell me how I should drive. Could've probably got the car for $4,000.00-5,000.00 dollars less if they would have left this garbage off. Other than that, the ride is great and love the 38-39 mpg that I am getting!
Hi. I'm looking into 1; have an appt. Monday w/Kia. But, do you have to turn that crap off everytime you start the car? And, it looks so small(well he's 6'5" too). Is it hard to get in+out? I have a Mazda3 now, and thats the main thing I dont like about it( I had a back injury).
@@turtleman5111 No, you don't have to turn everything off every time you start it. I only leave the Blind Spot Warning on. My daughter has a 2020 Honda Civic and my head rubs the roof with a hat on. I am 6'1". In the Forte, I can put my fist between my head and the roof. .....and, as always, small, low cars are always a challenge for us taller guys.. (I have a lowered Mustang also.....LOL)

But the height of both cars were pretty much the same; maybe I just got an inch or 2 more? Idk. The opening to get in is SOO muchbigger. Drives great(for that price), better tires would make the ride smoother. AND(it had 18 miles on it), it said like 20 MPG when I left dealer; when I got home after about 35 miles, it said 42MPG's! So, not bad.

At the end of the day that's your call. The LXS is comfortable, but if the looks of the GT Line are that enticing to you maybe it's worth the extra money
Durability they are about equal because they have very similar engines and transmissions. Stability Id give to the Forte because it’s got a lower center of gravity
I just bought the 2023 Forte LXS.. does anyone else notice a little “hole” in the back of their steering wheel or did i get a messed up car? Asked the service department over the phone and they couldn’t tell me 😑
My 2022 is identical to this one. Only difference is mine has turn indicators on my side mirrors this one doesn’t but very much the same. Mine is also White Exterior.
The Kia Forte LXS msrp is about $20,490 plus freight is about $21,500 but they wanted $27,000 at the dealership in Hilton Head, South Carolina, they have $5,500 in bogus fees and markups, it is not an affordable cheap car, it cost the same as a Honda Civic, so I went and bought a Honda Civic Sport 2024, The Forte is a good car, don't get me wrong but if it cost the same as a Civic, I won't buy it. It is like the difference between iPhone and Android, the brand. The Civic is much more car with a big resale value compared to the Forte.
I had a 2018 Corolla that got totaled last year in 2023. In 2023 I leased a 2024 Volvo S60 T8 Ultimate. I had to get out of that expensive lease. Now I have this Kia and I like Kia now better than Toyota. Don’t ask me why I leased a Volvo lol

My car has forward pedestrian alert. 2024 KIA Forte LXS Sedan. The KIA trim package breakdown is very confusing. It looks like the non GT cars do not have a forward cycling alert. So you may hit bicycles.

Was on the edge before buying my 23 LXS but I love it, I can consistently get 35-40 mpg CITY and 40+ highway their rating is generous.
