Just finished a trip with G from Cape Town to Nairobi. Mainly booked it due to this video and your ability to show the delta was a big reason for that! Was an absolutely incredible journey!!

9:10- Not only can hippos swim surprisingly fast but they actually can OUTRUN humans on land! In spite of their cute appearances, more human fatalities are caused by hippos in the water than any other water creature including crocs! BTW, hippopotamus means 'water horse' in Latin!
How are you safe in those tiny boats with the crocs and hippos?

I’ve just come back from doing a different G adventure tour that went through the Okavango delta. That song at 10:27 “ I shall never forget, beautiful, Botswana” makes me emotional, I remember this so clearly. Our group were referencing it the rest of the trip. 😩❤️🇧🇼
Wow what a trip. I'm off to Botswana in a few days but it will certainly be a more luxurious trip, more suited to my age. I so wish I could have done such an adventure when I was younger. I went to the Arctic on the GA Adventure's boat. An excellent trip - I can highly recommend this for your bucket list, if you haven't yet been there.
