    Been a while! Join me as we head back to Botswana! I probably say the word "amazing" 50 times in this video but that's really what this trip was like! PS. The horrible sound coming for my car is the exhaust, I bent it on a stump :P

    I just discovered your channel (and your other friends channels) recently. Subscribed immediately. Great content. Your overlanding is a lot more luxurious than what we do in the US. Corona beer? Really, that's luxury. Another big difference is that you need 4wd to get where you're going. We could stay on the paved road to get to most any place in the US, but we choose to go off-road just for the fun of it. I'll be watching more.

      Thanks! If you have a canvas tent I think it’s fine. I personally wouldn’t use a nylon / pop-up tent (albeit I’ve seen people do it). Regardless of the type of tent always be aware of your surroundings when you exit the tent, close it when you leave and never store open food inside.

      Would you say its possible/recommendable to tour Botswana without prior bookings? I understand that booking trough Botswana footprints make things much easier, but I normally travel without prior bookings because so many things can go wrong on a long trip and maybe you want to stay longer/shorter at a specific camp. Hi Nigel, we definitely want to do Namibia as well, costs are just high because of the distances

    Hi.Chris . Good one ☝️
    Which exact campsites did u stay at in savuti and south/north gate Khwai ? Thanks
    Going that route myself next year…

      Thanks Alan! Southgate was no 5. Not the most pvt but the more pvt sites were overgrown. SKL Khwai was no 1 (however they’re all nice). Savuti was no 6 (a nice one but the sand is really thick)

    Hi thank you for the video. What was the regulations regarding Covid testing?

    • @GetOutGO
      @GetOutGO  3 года назад

      You need a negative PCR test document not older 72h of entry and interzonal permits to travel across zones within Botswana. You can obtain these with the BSafe app (available on Android or IOS)

    I came back for a second viewing. I think I enjoyed it more the second time. Tell the 'film director' to do a better job of hiding in the bushes/grasses next time you drive down a steep track.
