Sensational Ed. I am 76, from PE, sadly now in Sydney. Big mistake. I look so forward to your videos, and you are the best Overlander. I love listening to your stories, explantations and insight. And I love watching your vehicle and equipment and braais! I am hoping to come home in May and go to Kruger. Thanks for always making the most interesting and wonderful videos. I could listen to your stories for hours. Huge thanks.
How is that you got only 11K sub? It should be at least a mil at this point - your video work and the way you explain is on an another level. keep up the good work.
So good to hear the appreciation you have for where you are regardless of the game viewing. Well done, to many of us rush through life and dont stop to appreciate our surroundings. Love those baobabs.
Very nice video, and whenever I visit the Southern Africa, I'm as greatful for all the impressions that I am allowed to experience like you when you said what you've said in the end of the clip. Thank you 👍🏾
Love the game-heavy videos too, but this was an extremely nice change of a pace from some of your other videos, Ed. Love to see some more of your in-camp goings-on and love seeing the landscapes, birds, and lesser-appreciated wildlife of the bush!
Great episode Ed, love the music and editing and what you said whilst sitting in the Baobab forest could not have been more true. Such a privilege to get to see these amazing wildernesses. Looking forward to your next episode 👍
Another good one, Ed. Thanks very much. Hey, I saw you at Retail Crossing Shopping Centre a few days ago. I was just leaving so I couldn’t stop to say hi.
This video was well worth the wait. Great scenery, flawless presentation, wonderful animals and a beautifully paced edit. I miss S.A. I'll be back! Soon! Thank you so much for sharing with us your passion for Africa.
Amazing , wow I am so blown away by this video and the beauty of the area. Please advise on traveling tips and expenses we would endure and also is it compulsory to have a 4x4 or will a 4x2 suffice?
Hmmm. I went up thar way in 1964 in a DAF 4×2 school bus. 60 of us Boy Scouts and Voortrekkers on board. Pretoria Maun Moremi Savuti Kasane Vic Falls Pretoria. . In a school bus boys!
Hello Edward, hope you get this at this late date. There is a black bird with red bill at 12:22 to 12:25, What bird is this as I cannot find it in any of my bird books. Really like your videos especially the birdlife.
Great question, Kevin!👏 We’ve been paging through our bird books and scratching our heads, without success. The closest we could get was a Red Billed Buffalo Weaver, which it definitely is not. We even tried ChatGPT but without success. Perhaps nature simply loves stumping us at times!
Great video. Always enjoy your content. I am always inspired by your videos. Question : do you find a RTT a hindrance when going on an early morning game drive. Would you ever go ground tent if you didn't take the trailer. Regards Gerald
Hi Gerald! Thank you so much! I do but with the iKamper’s quick setup it doesn’t affect me much plus I have it on the trailer so that acts as my base camp. I very rarely have the RTT on the vehicle but yes I would definitely rather take a ground tent than having to put up and tare down an old fashioned RTT every time
Just listening to those night sounds gets your adrenelin going, I tell you❤

Hi Eddie. When did you do th trip. Planning to go there on the 17th of December 21. Is the marsh road still waterlogged? Any ideas you can share
Hey mate! It was in may 2021, depends on how much rain they have but would assume it would be closed in December
