Heading to Bots on the 21st of September from the UK. This has done nothing but add to the excitement. Thanks for inspiring us all to travel to these places. Great job gents 👍
Great Video. I loved all of your videos (including the ones each of you make). As a Mozambican had to notice the 2M shirt that your 4th guy displays at the boat cruise.
What a MAGIC adventure gents. This one goes into the book of ultimate exploration, and really looking forward to travelling to Namibia with you legends. NEXT LEVEL 🤙
Chris, the thing I like most about the videos yourself, Edward, and Ryan produce is the calm way you present them, there's no shouting or screaming or anyone doing backflips off the roof racks or acting like ass holes, it's also a bonus that Africa is such a beautiful continent with so many amazing adventures to be had , well done guys, ....I'm so jealous..?
I truly enjoyed that episode. So beautifully crafted and presented. It's a privilege coming along on a virtual safari with you guys. I am currently in London but may be back in S.A. early October. If I do it will be my third visit and of course, I will venture out to Kruger once again.
Great episode again guys, unfortunately I only had problems with Lacie hard drives. SSD is fine but way too expensive. Lots cheaper versions available in SSD.
You should write Botswana the ultimate South African Adventure. Africa is much bigger than south africa, you can go to places in East Africa, Rift valley, Congo, Algeria,.... That will blow your mind. Drive north you will love the wilderness and the people.
We’ll still document travels firther North but we specifically said ultimate African adventure as we believe Botswana is one of the best places to self-drive in Africa, not just Southern Africa.
Awsome Botswana trip guys - really enjoyed your 2 episodes. Do you have any tips or contacts for the Chobe river boat cruises from local operators. Can you just rock up and book on the morning or pre-booking required ? The commercial sites and lodges are crazy with their prices. Thanks Henro
Thanks guys for your fantastic impressions of the African wilderness. A lot more people should watch your videos. The sounds constantly remind me of my own tours in Africa. My photo in RUclips is from Namibia. In which month were you in Botswana? Warm greetings from Germany
Great video , planning our trip in two months. Please let me know your thoughts on leaving the camping trailers at the camp? Any issues with being away the whole day ?
Howzit guys. Trip was a while ago understood. But you showed the trip getting to Kubu island, and then nothing, until back in SA. Did not show anything really of Kubu island or the way out etc. What happened there?
Hi, We use Ed's Frontrunner grid usually www.frontrunneroutfitters.com/en/za/front-runner-spare-tire-mount-braai-bbq-grate.html?currency=ZAR&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA6vaqBhCbARIsACF9M6nuqWhANFJlZNvBhqNyocHAFq0tPaypBEakhehIXAEmc22rFOFNPjQaArb7EALw_wcB
Major K. Have you ever thought that it could be the other way around.? Maybe you've let your Ranger down 🤔🤔 Think you must have used the wrong type of water? Try water from a plastic bottle, rather than that from a hosepipe...and use your left hand only. Better to let your Corporal do it for you, preferably from East to West...no no, that's South, Sir !!!! Have a good one. Saluut. 😇🦇😇
Be sure to watch until the end for the outtakes! Enjoy! 🙂

Super Epic. Worth watching the whole episode in one shot.
Thanks for watching!
@@OverlandingEscape o goodness. Thanks to all of you. I always watch your episodes. Amazingly done.
Absolute Adventure, great experience you had gents. Next time involve the locals & interact with them, good job & waiting for the next big adventure.
I truly enjoyed that episode. So beautifully crafted and presented. It's a privilege coming along on a virtual safari with you guys. I am currently in London but may be back in S.A. early October. If I do it will be my third visit and of course, I will venture out to Kruger once again.
Thank Michael, much appreciated!
I would like to know which kind of cameras you we're using guys?wow the trip was awesome.
Great trip, would love if you guys can breakdown the costs for such a trip as a part 2.
Great episode again guys, unfortunately I only had problems with Lacie hard drives. SSD is fine but way too expensive. Lots cheaper versions available in SSD.
We only use Lacie’s (ruggeds, rugged ssd’s, D2 pro’s, 1big docks and we have not had one drive failure so we’re stoked with them 👍
I would so like to know where you got the Fortuner seat covers and Co. Great to have watched the journey. Thx guys.
Thanks Karel! The seat covers, dash cover and mats are from Takla takla.co.za
I think if you let some of the air out of your tires would help in the sand
When did u do this trip
May 2021

Hi Ryan. Do you guys carry any particular vehicle spares since those vehicles go through some very tough roads?
Awsome Botswana trip guys - really enjoyed your 2 episodes. Do you have any tips or contacts for the Chobe river boat cruises from local operators. Can you just rock up and book on the morning or pre-booking required ? The commercial sites and lodges are crazy with their prices.

Thanks! This was in May
@@OverlandingEscape Thanks for the reply, I am planning to travel to Botswana in March. Is this month the right one? Or better from May?
Great video , planning our trip in two months. Please let me know your thoughts on leaving the camping trailers at the camp? Any issues with being away the whole day ?
In Botswana generally not an issue, just don’t leave any food, garabage or toiletries visible/ accessible to animals
Howzit guys. Trip was a while ago understood. But you showed the trip getting to Kubu island, and then nothing, until back in SA. Did not show anything really of Kubu island or the way out etc. What happened there?
Hi Robert, have a look at our respective channels (Get out go, Edward Bath and 4x4ventures).
Does anyone know what grill they use? It looks like "CONQUEROR"? I can't seem to find it online

Shame

What’s happened to the tray on the Ranger?
This was recorded in 2021 (before the tray) 😉
Amazing
