Yay Deni making snacks!
I first had Brazilian cheesy bread at skipper canteen in Magic Kingdom (it’s not on the menu, but if they know you have a gluten allergy, the server often recommends it) and it was amazing. I’ve been making it at home using various Brazilian recipes ever since. I’ve never used queso fresco, so I’ll have to give that a try.
Thanks for the tip. That’s terrible that it’s kept secret. Many of us gf folks don’t like to make a fuss.

I made this cheese bread using another recipe BUT I should’ve used this recipe instead. The outcome looks phenomenal, light and fluffy while the ones I made tastes salty and super heavy. I will definitely give this recipe a try. Should’ve gone with my first instinct!

Thanks for the demonstration Deni...I too use a blender to make my Pao de Queijo as well. Works perfectly. I actually just crumble the queso fresco into the blender and always put a bit more than is required, because more cheese is better, right? In a pinch I used mozzarella cheese once, it came out okay, not exactly the same and definitely needed more salt added when using the mozzarella. I also use my mini muffin pan and then eat twice as many.
You know I was a huge Steve fan but Deni is my new reason to watch the Dis. I love her. I love her love for all things Disney and I love her for how much she makes me happy just by watching her. And the Saturday Snacks are amazing. I look forward to them every Saturday. Keep up the good work Deni.

I’m Brazilian and make this twice a month. Next time go to a brazilian super market. You should be using a Brazilian flower named “povilho”. Use the entire bag , 4 cups of mozzarella (not queso fresco), and about 6.5 eggs. No milk! . Then massage with your hands until it’s a dough. THATS IT!
Pre heat to 360 degrees , and make your balls
